Yes. My family and I occasionally ate at Wing Luck. I remember they used to hand out hot linen towels to clean up, unlike other Chinese restaurants.

Dorbers was diagonally across the street from Baskin Robbins. I used to buy my shoes there and I remember one time I was there and Mrs Finkelstein came in and we were giving each other our opinions of the shoes. I kept thinking "I am shoe shopping with my teacher???"

In 1962 Ii was in one of the jewelry stores on Main Street and my current teacher (4th grade) Mrs. Berkoff came in. Not knowing how to act, I didn't say anything; not even "hello." The next day in class she yelled at me in front of the whole class for that. I wonder why she didn't say hello first?

Oh! Mama Lucy! They really did have the best pizza...and the best veal parmigiana, meatballs and baked ziti!!! I think one of the guys was named Lou, but I can't remember which one. One was tall and slim, the other was short and stocky. They were very nice guys.

LOL! Actually, I believe Nick was the shorter guy. Maybe, then, Lou was the taller one? PS- Besides pizza costing only 35 cents... stamps were only 8 cents and a phone call was 10cents (Thank goodnes SOME things have gotten cheaper over time!). Taperecorders cost $100, blowdryers were unheard of, color TV's were rare, one car per family was the norm, and you played with the kids who lived on your street --no arranged "playdates." Those were the good old days...
