Alas I don't remember the name or the face - but I do remember Miss Alfaya (I can remember in the third grade - I had her for both 2nd and 3rd - when she told us she was getting married. I went on to Parsons JHS and Forest Hills HS - college at Washington and Jefferson, medical school at Columbia - and like you I am retired but still do a fair amount of consulting.  Will try and find my yearbook

I remember you well, I gave you and half of Mrs. Goldman's class new watch's because of a commercial by John Cameran Swayzee who showed the new Timex watch and it was non magnetic or could not be magnetized, No one in our class had a  Timex so my late father had to replace all of the magnetized watches! A parents wisdom my dad had gotten a few extra watch's in the event of a future mishap. In the spring we were playing ball in front of your house by the island in the middle and you wanted to play with all of us and sure enough the ball hit you in the arm and the watch stopped working. You blamed me and I replaced that one as well. No hard feelings! Nice to hear from you again,
