I am very sorry to hear about your mother's passing.
There is absolutely need to apologize for your reply.
We were definitely together in 1st and 2nd grade. I too had Mrs. Sims and Riccio...and you are in both my class pictures! 3rd row in 1st grade and front row in 2nd grade picture.
How long have you lived in Austin ?
I think we were together in 1st and 2nd grade.
Please take a look at the class pictures I posted on my page and see if you are correctly identified. I have to admit though that I did not remember your name, but Neil helped. If you remember any other names from our 1st and 2nd grade class, please let me know so I can post them.

Good to hear from you. I just happened upon your message. I grew up on Melbourne Ave, near to Main St. The last names you mentioned sodun familiar, but I dont remember too much. I went to 164 1960-64 (1st thru 4th Mrs...Sims, Riccio, Blume, Rosenberg), then I went to private school 'til 8th 9-12 grade I was at Bowne.
My older brother and sister, both went to PS165 (yes 165, not a typo). I moved to NJ right after college. three years later I was in So. Calif. I now reside in Austin, TX
