Hey Jeff, I only just saw this message from you. Something must have gone wrong with my em address. It was great hearing from you and you're right that most of the memories are great ones. Did you go to the reunion or know who did? Keep in touch. Jerry

Hey, Last time I saw you we were having a drink in Cortland, NY. How have you been these last 40+ years? See that you live in NJ, we are in Danbury, Ct. Been here since 1986. E-mail is msdvorkin@gmail.com Send me your contact info, would be great to chat. Just got this web link, looks like you guys have been on this for some time. Can't believe you found Mitch Schoor. Drive thru the old neighborhood whenever I have a little extra time on my way to JFK. It's aged like the rest of us. Regards, Marty

Jeff - Sounds like you're ready for early-bird specials in Ft Laud:) College in Oswego was a lot of fun (my daughter is a soph there now). Syracuse is actually a great place to live. The weather? Late spring through fall is beautiful and winter is rough. I manage to get away on business and pleasure to break it up, but nothing that a good snow blower can't solve. Hey - I've been in these parts almost 38 years and am quite used to it. I get to New Yawk mostly for Mets games and some Broadway. Hope all is well with you. I’m in touch with lots of us on this site and Facebook. Maybe we’ll have a reunion someday. Regards to Jill, and put up some pictures. Stew

All the best,

Hi Jeff, Elliot Levine mentioned that fight we had a long time ago. I don't really remember the details but I always felt bad about it because we were really good friends. I seem to remember Johnny Steinberg brokering the truce. Any way, all these years later, my sincere apology for that silly childhood chapter. I have alot of fond memories of playing baseball, ping pong in my basement. I remember that you and I were San Francisco Giant fans and particularly Willie Mays fans. One day we got a glimpse of an add for "Mays" on the front of a bus. We thought it had to do with Willie Mays, so we waited in the freezing cold for the next bus to pass by only to find out that it was an add for Mays, the department store. The things we would do as kids! So you and Jill got married! I seem to remember that Jill's mom worked at PS 164. I hope all is well. I'd love to hear from you. Jerry Cohen

hi jeff. the throw was that good - it was just one of those "moments" growing up and you know how important sports was to us. i was a pretty good basketball player for a few years (for a not quite 5' 9" kid from 78th road). you were a very good all around athlete. glad to hear all is well.

I love the warm, hate the cold. All well here too. Two kids, daughter 24, pediatric speech pathologist living in Orlando and son 21 still in college. I leave for Vegas this Thursday with my son. Remember Scott Currie? He lives in Vegas and I am going to see him. I have been divorced for eight years.

hi jeff. how are you? hope all is well. i still remember that throw you made from centerfield in cbs league (i believe) to home plate and the guy was out at home. no reason that it should have even been close as it looked like he would easily score.

Hebrew school - uhg!!! My best Hebrew school experience. The evening of the NY blackout. My class was down in the basement, in the music room. There was another class down there too. All of the sudden the lights go dark. It's pitch black. We started a full fledged riot. No one could see a thing. I remember the teacher yelling "shecket....shecket....shecket." No one would listen. Fifteen minutes of anarchy at Hebrew school. It was heaven. That is until Eve Kutin came down with a flashlight. Fun gone.
And then there was Mr. Nelson. What a piece of work he was.
