Hi Susan. Yes HB is a great neighborhood. I am a dentist and my office is in Rockward Park accross the street from PS 207. I have been there for almost 30 years now. Wow that makes me feel old, but I do enjoy the area very much.

Michelle (Mish) is my wife's name. I can't believe we are married for 20 years last May - time flies when you are having fun!!!

Congratulation on your daughter - my son also graduated and is off to golf camp tomorrow - he will be gone for 5 weeks with his preschool sweetheart ( she wants to marry him already - he says she is just a friend LOL) who is coming in from Chicago today to be with him at camp.

Sorry about your Mom - my Dad just passed away too (sad day the 4th of July - his B Day we always celebrated).

Franklin is in Florida and married. I told James and Arnold you said hi.

Gotta go - 8:00AM and much to do before my son leaves - haircut, minor purchases etc. Thanks for getting back to me and please keep in touch.

It has been a long time - I just found out about the website.
I read your note to Mike Majoros and figured I would respond about some of my friends like James Murray and Arnold Blenner. Arnie is good friends with the Becker brothers. Unfortunately I last saw the Becker's at Arnold's father's funeral this past winter.

James moved to PA and we get together in the summer. All are well.

After all your family festivities this month, you should have plenty of pictures to post on here! (That's a hint!!) Summer is such a hectic time for everyone....we will pick up reunion planning in the Fall. Are you doing anything for July 4th? We are headed up to Maine..... going on a 5 hour whale watch - I can't wait!!!! YAY!! Thanks for the compliment about my dogs. I love my dachshunds!!

Congratulations to Bianca - hard to imagine what that must feel like as a mom. I'm sure you're very proud of her. Give her my best. My own son is 8, and he's still pretty much my baby. He thinks he's a big boy, though, and is really into baseball.

I was actually on assignment to cover the UN while I was working for my paper, back in 1991. It was during the last Gulf War, so I spent most of my time hanging out around the Security Council. I spent about 3 months there, but not once did I get out to Queens. I haven't been back to the neighborhood since I left in 1977!

I'll definitely be at the reunion, if not sooner. Truly looking forward to it.

Meanwhile - hope you have a chance to rest up. Your week sounded pretty exciting - but hectic!

Sorry to hear about your computer. I love them and hate them. I always say that, if my husband weren't around to fix them when they break, I wouldn't own one! I'd go to the library and do my computer stuff there, instead! I'm such a techno-phobe! I wonder what I'd be like if I were a kid, today. Would I be into all this stuff or not?! Father's Day was CRAZY for us! We had a Bat Mitzvah brunch in the morning, my son had a bowling party in the afternoon, we had dinner at my in-laws to celebrate with my Steve's dad, then we had a Graduation BBQ to attend! (PS--Congrats on your daughter's graduation? What will she do next year?) BTW, I was contacted by Chisako, too! I was so excited! She was such a great girl. Can you imagine if we had had the internet, back in our time? None of us would have lost touch! I only kept in touch with one person from KGH (my best friend, Claire Forchheimer), all these years, because we wrote letters to each other, weekly. Can you imagine writing weekly letters for 25 years?!!! Well, we did...until the internet came along! It's so much easier, now. We write 3x/day! lol!
