Its so funny how I found out that my daughter's roomie was Lynnes daughter. Totally by accident, then she hooked me up with this site. I use to live in Hicksville now in Cedarhurst. That's so funny that you remember me riding my bike. Still have the blonde hair!! Are you planning on going to the reunion?

Hi Karen! This website is a real kick, isn't it? I got laid off from my job at the zoo last month, so am looking for "other options" right now. The economy is awful. I remember going to your house so often on snow days to play! I spoke to Barbara Labensky (she moved when we were in...2nd or 3rd grade) over the weekend. Talk about a blast from the past!
How old are your kids? Mine are 12 and 15. My mom passed away in 2001 (and my dad in 1988), but she lived in queens her whole life--moved to Bayside after my dad died. I don't get back to NY very often, but my brother still lives there, in Hewlett. If I find myself back in NY any time soon, we should have a "reunion"--Mrs. Sondike's students maybe??
