Pretty good seats ? We were in the 1st or 2nd row along 1st base...lol.
I still remember you asking me if i could go, and you said your aunt worked in the ticket dept.
I would bet we were the ONLY kids from 164 at that show...
Times have changed i would say. How many kids at that age are going to ANY concert.....all by themselves no less.

Jeff, Mrs. Emerick and Mr. Goldmacher would be very, very proud of you. My son, 17, is looking at colleges now. I too will be married 22 years next month. My son is a DJ besides being a senior in hs. happy to hear your son made the baseball team. guess he has better genes and talents than his dad - lol. Can't believe your wife was a luger. Those people are unbelievable. Sliding down those ice hills on your back -- need I say more? Let's keep in touch.

Jeff, your memory is fantastic. I remember it well, also. Where are you living? Married? Any kids? What do you do for a living? I was a court reporter, then in advertising for 21 years, and now a commercial real estate broker in NYC. Do you remember Dennis Gitler and Rusty Siegal?

Yes! I was in music too. Don't think I had Nelson though...don't remember. Walked home alone in the dark. Main Street was pitch black.

Did you might any chance remember Michael Booker from your ice days? Michael won a couple of medals for the UK in the late 50's and was our on the line manager till we sold to Dorothy Hammel Never figured you could get into so much trouble in Binghamton

No wonder you don't remember the walks back home -- there were none! I took out the 3rd grade address list and checked...you lived on Park Drive...across from Flushing Meadows...right? It must have been one of those days when perhaps you went home with Teddy or Jerry to hang out after school (or perhaps lunch time) because I remember all of us walking and you doing your Donald Duck.

Jeff

You look the same. Actually the Felds owned every other Ice Show in the US. The Capades were bought by Tom Scallen from Minneapolis running a company called IBC (Int'l Broadcasting Co). Scallen also bought the Globetrotters from Metromedia in the late 80's. Its a bit fuzzy now but I think Scallen bought the Capades from Metromedia as well. Anyway the Bank (National Westminster) foreclosed in 1991 and I ran the company until it was sold to Dorothy Hamel.

Thank you Jeffrey!

I have a list of names from 3-3 that I could not match up with the faces. I am going to post them shortly. Perhaps that would help...

Hi Jeffrey!
I just posted some photos from my days at P.S. 164 and I realized that we were in the same class from 1st to 3rd grade. I do remember walking home with you, anyTeddy and Gerald. I would turn on 75th Rd while you guys continued on. I remember you as the boy who did this Donald Duck thing...and guess what? I always remembered that and told my daughter about you when she was much younger...and I just told my nephews and neice this past December about you and your Donald Duck voice. Do you still do it?
By the way, do you mind taking a look at the class pix and see if you can id others and correct any of the names that I have on there? It's been a long time and my memory is failing me.

Thanks!

Jeff--Hi!! In all honestly, I seem to remember you more from Parsons JHS then from 164. But maybe, I'm just having a semi senior moment! Didn't you live near Bob Herzlich on Park Dr. East & 75th. I lived on Vleigh Place just about a half block down from Gaby Solomon. I used to hang out with them during 7th and 8th grade. Do you Know Dave Moin as well? Dave went to SUNY at Binghamton and then went into journalism also. He's currently a business editor for Women's Wear Daily. He is one of the few friends from Queens that I still kept in touch with. My wife grew up in Horseheads. I've driven through Binghamton numerous times over the years. It would be great to connect some time.-------Marty

actually, I did go into hc admin, but was yelled at by too many docs, so went back to law school. I still see Ted Nikolis every now and then on a visit back to the old neighborhood. His mom still lives on 141st street. Kept in indirect touch w/Neal Zitofsky through our mom's who remained friends, but his mom unfortunately passed away a few years back.

Let me know if you ever get down to South Florida.

Hey Jeffrey - Glad to see the size of our class is growing. Amazing - judging by your picture, I think I would have recognized you if I saw you on the street today. Been in touch with anyone from the old neighborhood? Sad to say, but I pretty much lost touch with everyone that we went to school with. Then again, it's been over 40 years!! Take care and all the best to you and your family. Jerry
