Thanks Jeff. I like to think I look the same but it gets harder and harder to convince myself of that some mornings. I've always wondered where and how you were. I left Queens as soon as I graduated, went to Israel for a year, studied nursing and moved into Manhattan. My parents separated and divorced while I was in college and sold the Queens house so I had no reason to return to the neighborhood. I met my husband in the city, he's originally from Brazil but went to HS in Newark, so when we married we moved out to Hoboken and have been in Jersey ever since.
This site is quite a feat! I lost touch with Alice and Wendy at some point. I knew Alice was in Belgium and saw Wendy over the years when she lived in Israel and after she returned and got divorced. But it's probably been at least 15 years since the last time I saw her.
Tell me about yourself. What have you been up to over the years. I keep meaning to get up to westfield. There's a knitting store I'd like to visit there.

Hi Jeff,
Remember me? I am new to this site but some of my posts mention you. We played alot of sports at the 164 playground together and were among the fastest runners of our age group. You lived on the block just past the Main street Movie Theatre. I think Gilma Bustillo the ballerina lived on your block. She was in several of my classes. You also had a friend or cousin named Candy. Don't ask me how I remember that but I do. Hope all is well with you.

You heard pretty good. The story went like this. Mitch P. convinced me to check out Israel. I liked my stay so much I didn't want to come home. I decided to learn some more about my roots and before you knew it I was totally practicing. Wendy came over to join me and before she knew it she married a guitarist.

I think Aliza Haklay had 3 siblings. It's true Ilene Ebner,Joey Sobel(may he rest in peace) Cheryl Diener all were with 2.

Look I'm here in Antwerp somewhere between the Middle Ages and the Dark ages so I'm signing off for the moment.

Hi Jeff,

Great to see your comment. Of course I remember you and that you and my sister, Alice were classmates. As for my nickname, that came from an older guy from PS 164, Alan Zylbert, who thought I looked like this professional hockey player at the time. That was his nickname. Anyways, I've never been a hockey fan or played hockey. Still have fond memories though of our days in the park. My sister, Nancy can fill in on Alice and how she is doing... Regards...

If you click on "add comment" it only shows up on your page in blue. All the blue boxes on your page were never sent to the people you intended. Ken

Hi Jeff! Nice to hear from you. I remember Bernard Feuer, although not too well! Neil Geffner's name is not familiar. I live off Exit 123 in Old Bridge (How New Jersey sounding is that!!!). We're probably not that far away. I always think about the "kids" from 164. We had a great group! How is Vivian doing?

How are you? I hope that you're doing well. I'm living in Alabama now with my wife and two children. My parents moved here ten years ago as well. Sheldon moved to Arizona. I remember playing tag with you, and I remember you being at my birthday parties. I also remember playing ball with you at 164 when I was about six; because I was several years younger than you and your friends, instead of having to hit the ball to get on base, you used to let me throw it.

Yes and I will , I saw your name the other day and mentioned it to Ron. I will send him the link. I know are parents are still in touch and we get occasional updates. Nice to hear from you.
