Hi Beth!! It's so good to hear back from you. I envy you living in Manhattan. I lived in the Village for awhile when I moved back to NYC and then when I got married moved down to Battery Park City. I worked on the upper east side when I was with CUNY, however, and for awhile my parents lived in that area as well. I love it in CT but do miss the city. We don't get in as often as we would like but try to come in to see my dad when we can. How did you get into the jewelry business? The only person I keep in touch with on a regular basis is Jeff Salgo--a year before us but he lived across the street from me and we have known each other since we were babies. It's probably the only friendship I have maintained over such a long period of time. How about you? And how it Elliot Levine doing?

So sorry that your mother has to go through this. I know my father saw her several months ago at Waldbaums (or what ever the grocery store is on Glen Cove Road) and I saw her several years ago in front of her house. She told us that "she just paid off the mortgage!" We all laughed.

Yes, we have a daughter, Gail, (Diana is her middle name) who just finished her first year of college in Madison, Wisconsin. My husband, Jeremy, is a criminal lawyer and I am a psychoanalyst. We live in Dobbs Ferry.

bob levy was my father's first cousin. i think Bob and/or Harriet died recently. Rosellen, their daughter was a year older than us and their son about 4 years behind us. think they lived on Park Drive East, but moved to Long Island. Bob Levy handled the real estate that my great grandfather owned. they were at my bar mitzvah, but i didn't see them often but did remember Rosellen as snobby. it is interesting how many connections and things people remember - esp for me since we moved away at age 12 in 1965.

hi beth, think you were in one of my early classes (graduated 1965 as well). guessing it was kindergarten or 1st. i'm in one photo posted on the site: 1965 class 6-2 front row 2nd from left (between Joanne Fox and Abby Marguleis). lots of 1965 people joining lately...
