I know Jenny Chin had an older brother, but I didn't know his name. I think it is quite safe to assume that David Chin is her brother. Jenny spoke English (I am pretty sure she did)...so I am surprised that her brother was not that fluent.

Hi Peter, I'm so surprised to hear from you. Weren't we 5 years old when knew each other? Where do you live now? I'm still close to where we grew up and see the old neighborhood often. I wont be lengthy here but all is well and life is good. All the best, Joanne

Yes, I do remember Joanne Fox. I did not see she was a member. Maybe I will write her.

No, I have no plans to go to the reunion, although it probably would be fun. Maybe between now and then if enough people say they would be there I would change my mind. How about you?

I do remember Kenny Plotnik, not Wertheim. I speak to Modlin every so often, although we did lose contact for a bit, since he is here in Florida not far from me. I am the one that told him about this site. Delete Comment

Peter, I really don't remember you although I would like to. I did know Steven Raffe, Daniel Bender They both lived in the court on Main Street across the street from Grand Union. Yes, harris is short and lived on 79th Avenue. They were all a grade ahead of me. You probably knew Eliott Schnee and Mark Freilich as well. I lived on 78th Road, next building from Gary Gorelick.

It sounds like we all grew up and went different ways. My parents always seemed old to me too. I wonder if I seem old to my kids? My brother, Bobby, still lives in Searington NY and is now retired. (also married, 2-kids, house and dog; must be genetic)Where in Florida did you Mom settle?

No, it was definitely Mrs. Goldberg (remember quite clearly how much she disliked me) and the more even-tempered Mrs. Sachs. I was 2 years ahead of you. Was NOT in Glee Club but remember Mrs. Farkas.
I wouldn't live anywhere but New England - although i travel a moderate amount. am an artist and having a group museum show in San Bernardino (Robert V Fullerton Museum of Art) this fall. i sort of feel like a failure compred to everyone posted on here - the CV of most posters seems quite accomplished - i'm more (as you say) hanging on by my fingernails to middle-class-edness...

Yes, Barbara/Olivia here. Lori Coleman is actually a friend out here in California. I'm trying to contact her through this site, but I'm having a little trouble. Peter Monroe. sounds very familiar, but you being a year or two older than me, I'm not sure you would've deigned to speak to me. But you were in Glee Club?
Yes those were the years. I'll never forget Mrs. Bromberg having us read the New York Times every morning. Yes, I was in IGC, but hung on by my fingernails. They did appreciate us "more artistic" ones in those days. I'm not sure how they fare these days.
Must be lovely in Mass. I still miss the real change in seasons here in L.A. But I've loved raising my kids here..........
