Oh sure Marty. I remember you from 164. You used to live across the Queens County Savings Bank on Vleigh. Still in touch with Robert. He's a doc, lives in the village and practices at several hospitals in NYC. My favorite story: You, Robert, Gaby Solomon and I were sitting around a table at Mama Lucy's, eating slices and speaking in loud voices as usual, calling each other by our last names. Then, a father walked over to our table and told us to stop cursing because there were children in the restaurant. Cursing? We were kind of incredulous. We told the guy we weren't cursing, we were just calling you by you last name - Schiff. I don't know if he believed us, but I still remember the look on his face, because he thought he had us so busted.

Alan Spett married Debbie Mager probably around 1975. They had 3 boys and got divorced I'm guessing around 15 yrs ago. He now lives in Atlanta with the boys. I saw him a couple of years ago when he came up for his Mom's funeral. He's doing well. I knew Scott Kraus from Bowne. I had no idea he was a boy scout. Didn't seem the type!

I know for sure that I was in your third grade class with Mrs. Emeric because you signed your name on the class list that she prepared for me when I left for Japan. I am slowly posting my class photos from K through 3rd grades. Please take a look and see if you are in any of my classes. I feel very bad, but I cannot id you in our 3rd grade class photo...sorry. But even before I double checked my list, I knew your name sounded very familiar with it popped up under class of 1966.

I didn't recognize your picture until I went onto your brother's page. Maybe that's because I didn't have to turn sideways to see it! Even though you were a year ahead of me I think I remember playing ball with you and being in the boy scouts. Brings back memories.
