Btw, I did voiceovers on The Philanthropist and wasn't on camera! If you want to hear my voice featured, I revoiced a woman possessed in the opening of "Constantine", starring Keanu Reeves. On camera, I was in the main titles of "Wild Bill", starring Jeff Bridges. It was my biggest role to date.

I've been doing voiceovers for a long time. They're fun. Yes, it takes practice. Failing miserably helps you learn faster! You should try it again, especially since you're bilingual. I just finished a conversation with an international student from Beijing sitting beside me. I spent two days helping to find actors who could speak Burmese, Tibetan, Indonesian, Thai and Chinese. But I got his info because he said he used to do broadcasting in Beijing. Look for more opportunities if you're interested in doing it.

I was fortunate to have missed the downpour because I got back to my place a half hour before! Today was beautiful, but I spent most of it in a dark sound studio. I'm in NY to work on doing voiceover for a movie called, Shanghai", starring Gong Li, Chow Yun-fat, Ken Watanabe and John Cusack and today, unexpectedly worked on a tv show called "The Philanthropist".

Well, it was surprisingly easy. Traveling alone ie without children, with no obligation but to attend a reunion made all the difference. I had lost contact with everyone from my childhood in NY so I really feel like I've regained something very dear to my heart. Anyway, nice to finally meet you - too little time to talk. Would love to hear about your experience at 164 sometime! Let's keep in touch .

Hi Yumiko,

I always lived at the corner of 77th Avenue and Park Drive East. I spent the majority of my time at the 164 schoolyard. However, I do know must of the people that have posted on your page. Miriam Rabinowitz lived up the street from me and her brother was close friends with my brother Alan. There is a good chance that our paths crossed back then. Regretfully, although it was my intention to attend, I can't make it up from Florida this weekend, but hopefully in the future there will be another chance to reminisce. Hope you all have a great time.

Hi Yumiko. I just found this web site and saw you were online. I have to sign off soon, but I wanted to chat with you sometime soon because I find your page super interesting. I was Class of 65 so I don't recall you from school, but I saw the last name Lazarr on one of the sheets, and Janice Lazarr was in my class. I was wondering if you might know where the Lazarr's are these days. I will be attending the reunion, so maybe we will have the chance to talk then. I think it's wonderful that you have such fond memories of the school. It was a very special time in my life too.

I guess I went quiet for a while. Still a bit in the 19th century. I posted a picture with the Pope. Yes my mother still lives in the same house and a knock on the door would be fine. Not sure I am going to reunion but will try. Now I need to flip back and see what other answers I owe you. I hope things are well with you.

Yumiko - Unfortunately, does not look like I will be able to make it. Both my brother and sister are planning on attending. I will tell them to look for you. If things change and I can make it up there, I will let you know.

Odds are good that I'll be there, barring any family or work conflicts. My calendar on that weekend is now free, and I'll probably be sending my payment with the next 2 weeks.

I am not planning on attending.

If there were a number of people I knew from our year who were planning to attend, I might reconsider.

However, knowing you will be there does improve the chances.
