Hi Marlou,
Do you remember me? I'd walked you and charisse home from school. I never got a chance to thank you for your friendship. You and your family look great. Say hi to charisse for me when you get a chance. Take care. Stay in touch.

So, we did it. The ties that bind us are at 164. Who knew it would still be important to us 3 decades + later.
I had an amazing time with the woman you've become. It's great to see that good things come to good peeps. I was nervous that after all this time i would have nothing in common with you, but as it turns out, we can never be strangers.
I hope you come to visit this winter. It's quite nice here with the palm trees, ocean, and all.

a bientot,
nat

my dad's place is 2:15 from NYC. It's right next to Woodstock. Would you be interested in coming upstate with your family?

Mary lou, eyes are blue...

I'm coming to NY for a couple of weeks, starting July 25th. I would love to see you. We'll be going upstate to visit my dad and we'll be joined by 17 family members from Zac's side. My dad now has a B&B in Phoenicia, near our country house. I'll be around until Aug 10th. Would you be interested in getting together with Illyne and I for dinner. I could come into the city or we could meet somewhere in between, or you might be interested in bringing your family upstate for some fresh air, hiking and tubing. Let me know, i'd love to see you.

Here's a memory for you...We used to be seated at the same table in 6th grade, and I remember taking some kind of state exam. I remember not knowing what the other name for chicken was, and I swear, the only time I ever cheated on a test, I asked you for the answer and you told me "poultry". I should have known that because the french word for chicken is poule. Well anyway, thanx again.

hope to see you soon,
nat

Sorry for the abrupt ending on my last message. anyway...You look fab and happy. I have so many great memories of us. Like, u, me and Charisse in my parents bathroom checking ourselves out in the mirror and comparing our new budding adult parts. Not much has changed there. you would be able to pick me out of a lineup just from memory. I'm still gamine.

I can't wait to see everyone at the reunion. I'm definately going and so is my brother.

Another memory of you is when u got pop rocks caught in your throat in the school yard. u were gagging and popping at the same time. Very funny looking back. I don't mean to laugh at your expense, but you survived, and the memory is priceless.

I think we should start a forum for our class's memories. Those days were really a lot of fun. I loved so many of my classmates, including you.

Say hi to Charisse and ask her to join.
please write back. ;-)

Hi Mary Lou,.. this is fantastic. of course I'm so curious what generous-great feats you've had in your life. U seem to be as involved, as u were as a child. I knew that u were going to be a physical therapist. I guess u made up your mind and followed thru.

Hi Mary Lou, I lived on 70th ave & was a few years behind you in 164. I was very good friends with Charisse's sister Lana, but I lost touch with her when I moved away during High School. Please let her know I said hello. If you have any contact info for Lana that you are comfortable sharing, you can send it to me off-list at mrickard72@hotmail.com.
thanks.

Hey there, remember Gail Rothfeld's ranch in upstate NY? What a great place to have fun with team mates and friends! I remember my senior yr - we shared many laughs there too! How about that swamp for a lake? I'm sure the lockness monster nested there at some point - SMILES!

Mary Lou,

Yes, you are correct, that was her name.

I remember the incident very well. Richie was crazy. At first it started as something funny, but then he became very difficult and he was escorted from the class.

Charisse is a stay at home mom. That's great. That is my goal, but my wife still wants her career.

I try to convince her, escpecially after she has a rough day at work.

Have a peaceful and restful Holy week.

Rick

It's great to hear from you and see that everything is going well. You look terrific! (no surprise). The job must be very rewarding, helping all those people. Four daughters! They must keep you very busy.

I still keep in touch with a bunch of people from our class, including Eric B., Asif, Janet, and Steven, and I hear about Sara through my mother, who stays in touch with Merry.

Are you still very active in sports? I remember you were great at bowling and softball and everything else you ever tried. (Don't tell me you're a soccer mom).

All the best,

Lauren

Hi Mary Lou. I don't know if you remember me. My then-boyfriend Craig knew your sister (and I think she gave us the chicken pox...) . Anyway, I would love it if you would say Hi to Charisse for me. Thanks.

Great to see you!
Those school pix are amazing. I haven't seen that stuff forever. We were so...little. Here's to getting better with age!
I'm in Columbus, Ohio now. We took a day trip down to Athens and OU a few months ago. It must have been a great place to go to school.
Glad to see you and your family are doing well.

Hey there. You look amazing too! And your family is wonderful - big :-). How are your sister and your Mom? Please say hello for me.

I'm still dancing socially, but not professionally. My love is swing dance (Lindy). I am living in Elmhurst Queens, practicing massage therapy at Bliss spa, and have 2 wonderful nieces who are the light of my life.

I would love to get together when you can. Please keep in touch!
