Very impressed that you remembered a painting I did so many years ago. Actually majored in art in college and graduate school. Don't do much creative stuff now except for the Bar Mitzvah center pieces for both my boys. I do art production now at Martha Stewart Living. Married and live in Fair Lawn, NJ. I rember the kid Alan from the private houses. I also remember a girl name (I think) Miriam Berger. I rember the O'Briens from the neighborhood and of course the Orensteins. Have you heard anything about the Markowitz's. Does your mom keep in touch? The last I heard was that Michael left his wife for his girlfriend - I think I heard that from your mom. I also remember Richard Fiedler. He used to work at the garage that Adam owned - remember him and Julie? I've been in touch with Yvonne Dressler but I don't remember a whole lot of people. Somer names are familiar some not so much like Cindy Adams - her name isn't ringing any bells at all.

Really funny! I've lost about 20 ponds since my fusion surgery, I'm back to my pre-surgery weight. I can't run at all so thats out. I don't remember a lot of people but Gail and her sister Hillary lived right near us. You have to remember the Sclafani's; they lived right next door on the bottome floor. The mother was Rose and the two girls. How could you not remember them! Good luck with the race - make sure you post a picture.

I remember some people. I got a message from Gail Ginsberg. Remember her family- mother Claire on Jewel Avenue. I also got some messages from Maria Sclafani. How's that for going back in time. What else is going on? What made you start running? I'm getting a handicapped plate from the city - that's how bad my back is. I'm just waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

I honestly didn't think I would hear from you again.Thank you for proving me wrong.Too bad you don't live here in S Fla because you would probably get a lot of business here with landscaping.Especially if you know how to fix sprinkler systems. Are you coming to the reunion?I heard it's on,but not too many people have payed.Me included because a lot of people are talking about doing something else instead.Either way I'm coming up.From facebook I recently hooked up with a friend from camp and will be seeing her when I come up.Have you found any friends from this?pretty sureal,isn't it.I've been talking a lot with Stuart Freilich(4th grade-Mrs.Golblatt's class)Don't know if you remember him.He's married with a son living in Missouri as a lawyer.

Hi Richard,Your memory is good with Leora.Cindy Adams has all the class pictures with the names. I too couldn't remember anyone until I saw the pictures and then it came flooding back.How about other names ...Paul Romine,Marcy Bender,Joyce Robertson,Sharon Levy(she and I are still extremely close after all these years),Elizabeth Patterson,Miguel Lopez,Gary Renis,Michael Abler and that's all I can think of right now.
Are you still living in New York?Married?,Kids?I am definitely coming up June 4-7.I heard they may be cancelling the reunion but other people are trying to set up a luncheon or dinner in the city instead if they do cancel it.

Hi Richard,Last week I met with Cindy Adams,Ivy Orenstein,and Rene Willner (don't know if you remember any of them)for lunch here in Fla. Cindy was visiting with her boyfriend. Anyway, she brought class pictures from 164 and there you were. As soon as I saw the pictures I started remembering the names with the faces.It's amazing how it almost all came back.

This proves how much my memory has deteriorated.You asked about Michelle Grunberg.When I spoke to Cindy Adams she had told me that she passed away at least 15 years ago of breast cancer.That would make her in her 30's.That scared the ____ out of me to hear that
someone I went to elementary school died so young.
True story-when I (we) were turning 50 I was really freaking out.How could I be turning 50?This veterinarian I once went out with and to whom I ended up using as a vet for my dogs got non smokers lung cancer.IN less than a year he died and he had just turned 50.He was our age at the time.After that ,I look forward to my birthdays.
Not the happiest of notes this time but you asked and you should know.Remember Michelle had 2 different color eyes?The things you remember.

Hi Richard.I can't believe you remember me.This whole thing is so bazaar.Who would believe we would be talking to people from another lifetime,so it seems. It is fun.

How have you been?Are you going to the reunion?
I've been to the schools on and off over the years because I'm still friends with Sharon Levy (don't know if you remember her),when I come up to visit Sharon still lives in the neighborhood so I've seen the changes.
