Hey Tiv,
I assume your like me, you probably don't own alot of shirts with sleeves attached! LOL. You look great! BTW, Mike Abler says hello. Flex...I'm growing old but not up!
Hey Tiv,
Still doing the never ending sets of pushups? Last time I saw you was at the Health Club in the Student Union at Queens College, circa 1977 or '78. I speak with Mike Abler on a weekly basis and have seen Brad Rudman at the Bar Mitzvah's of Mike's children. I have a couple of QVAA Little League team pictures I hope to post in the future. One photo is taken in front of Nibs and the other at the German Deli a few stores down. Some of the players pictured include Russell Raffe, Wayne Grosso and Mitchell Mestell. Hope all is well....Hal Taylor.
Hi A. Well...not exactly the same. You look great. Handsome as ever. This is an incredible website. So nostalgic; the floodgates have opened. We had a very unique class. Some very talented people. I remember the comicbooks and songs that were created. Very clever. How are you? ~R
Hi Andy, I recently heard about this website and it is nice to hear from people
from years gone by. My son only likes to be called Andrew now but one day maybe he will have a nickname. Is that your daughter in the photo? She is cute. What is her name and how old is she. Do you still live in NY?
I moved in 1971 from Queens and I currently live in NJ. I am friends with Karen and our sons are also friends.
Hi or Yo as my boys say; I got an e-mail from you from the site that was dates at about 10:50PM last night, that you sent a message; but there is no message on my page. Sometimes the site does not work I guess?...............Vickie or vickie736@aol.com
Hi! I remember MKI. I did business there with a guy named Bill ? They got bought out by Tullet I think. My career lasted almost 30 years. I do not want to sound ike a jerk, but I started at the bottom when I was 22, and became the ONLY Female MD in Gov't Bond Trading at a recognized dealership. From what I knoe even until now, there is not anyone else. Key word id Trader. There are plenty of women in inevestment banking , sales, forex reseach etc.; perhaps equity trading? I trained a lot of people. To make a long story short; My biggest success was Robert Diamond. He is Pres. & CEO Of Barclay's. He worked for me at Morgan Stanley. The managers wanted me to train someone else. I put my job on the line for him. If I want to go back to work [I am on disability right now I have been contemplating about work, and I would ofcourse talk to him. I own a home in Olde Lyme , CT. It is basically a 5 mi walk to the L.I. sound. There are 4 roads that are private, an the beach is all private. It is really beautiful. So, thank you SO MUCH for the compliment. Where did you see a picture of me?...........Vickie
Hi What's up? I am almost positive I did, but I can't remember right this minute. I will have to ask my friend Glen Slapo [she is on the site] I was in 3 yr SP. Were you? So, they kept us all together. Did you have Mr Friendly?
hi! Andy; i forgot to say that i really can see what she [Miss Penn} did to you. I knew right away she was really tough, and wouldn't take any sh_t. I was good at feeling those things out because my Dad was REALLY tough. So, I bahaved in there, and passed. You accomplished a lot! She worked us to death. All these years later, I can still type.[ a little] She left an indeliable mark on most of us i think!
hi Andy! isaw your e-mail this afternoon on my aol, but when i kept trying to get on the site my page did not work. It is finally working now, obviously. I mentioned to Peter about Miss Penn i] because i am the worst typist 2]because she was my first black teacher, but I never got it out to him that our class was so stupid, and immature that i thinl it took us weeks to stop laughing because her name was Miss penn {pen] get it; and she was a typing teacher. DUH!!! or DOH!!! I see that Stuart wrote about Michelle Ginden. She was my sisters best friend, and lived about 3 houses down. I could tell a lot of stuff. Lets just say my sister needed protection in those days being with Michele, which she got. I am watchingYanks- mets. I don't see anything on your pofile, saying what is up with you these days [unless my site still has errors.......
arlo guthrie lives in the berkshires and occasionally does a gig in northampton - he is really old and out of it at this point in my opinion. did you go to the reunion? i've been speaking to more than a couple fo the 164 allumni who attended. some pretty candid comments that couldn't be printed anywhere on this site...
well, i haven't seen him at any pot-parties...but let me research...i lived in Northampton for 5 years...

p.s. - 'hippie exploits' as far as i'm concerned means just not doing 'regular-people' stuff like getting married, having kids and driving a car, etc. all of which i don't do...in otherwords there is no hang-out parameters/places us drop-outs go and do things together...haha
Hi Andy! You may not beleive this , but I was going through the members of this site, page be page for fun, and to see who I might recogize.I knew I recogized you, but whwn i pulled up your page and saw your class, I said to myself it must be one of my sister Diane's friends so I as hesiateto write. It was soooo cool to get your note! You look great! Are you going to the reunion? My PC keeps going down. It was down for a long time, then the past 3 days it has been but I fixed it myself....I a a total dummy when it comes to this stuff, I can't beleive I fixed it! I really hope to hear rom you when you get chance.I hope I taught you some baseball, or how to fight adgainst bullys!............Vickie
Geez - that move as a 14 year old kid was the most traumatic event of my young life. It sucked - my Dad lost his job in NYC and an opportunity awaited him in DC so, off we went. In retrospect, it really broadened my horizons and was a move many of our peers made during and immediately after college.
Steve and I were roomates for 2 years in SUNY Cortland. As I mentioned to U and Brad, we were real tight but, he had some "behaviors/habits" that I and many of us out grew - he just didn't. We need to discuss more off-line; this really saddens me!
That fight with Cavasino - he whacked me a few times but, I didn't go down - someone had to stand up to that shmuck; can U believe we looked forward to that game every day at lunch; on asphalt.
One more Campbell menory - I got a 96 on that Algebra Regents cause of all that tutoring at your house - Old Mr Manley "had a cow" when I got that score - put me right there with U and Ray Zerrrener (sp?).
Andy,
Did you ever live anywhere 75th Rd off of 137 when you were at P.S. 164? I remember there was this younger boy, don't think he actually lived on my street, but came around now and then and we kinda hooked up as kids. I am pretty sure his name was Andy and ever since I joined this site last year and saw your name, I have been wanting to ask you.

Duffy Dvorkin here. How the heck R U? Quite a cute little girl U have. Guess it has been about 2 - 3 years since U, Bradley and I talked. Question for U - What do U know about the passing of Steve Feinbloom U can e-mail me at
"stuart.dvorkin@gsa.gov."
Hey, Tiv. Just curious if you or any of our old classmates might attend the reunion. At present, none of them are on the list. BUT, it's not too late ...if the check is sent in this week, one can still attend.
Good to hear from you. I've been in touch with Alan and been to his house. He lives a few miles from my sister. I emailed him about joining here but he hasn't responded.
