Weird memories pop up: I remember you having quite the sledding mishap on Suicide Hill. I lived on 77th Ave just across from the corner of 164 & was over to your home a couple of times with Jay Sessler (maybe 3rd or 4th grade?) Got a kick out of reading your bio.

I emailed Patricia telling her I am coming...So I guess I better start making my travel arrangements. Feel like I am jumping off a cliff or something because I have not traveled on my own for a long time now...I see below me that Jeffery may be coming. Hope you decide to come too!

I'm leaning toward coming. I discussed it with my wife this AM, she's not so inclined. So I'll probably send in a check for myself within the next two weeks. My daughter is going to Israel this summer, and I'll have to drop her off and pick her up @JFK, so the dates, if I am lucky, may line up. I am unsure of her departure and arrival dates.
So take it mostly as an affirmative.

I'm really torn. Sometimes I'm ambivalent. Sometimes I'm gung-ho. And other times I'm not into it at all.

I RSVP'ed as not going but part of me still wants to go...and am starting to reconsider. My husband won't be able to go, but am thinking maybe I should go...Let me know where you stand on this.

I have fond memories of all our fun play dates. I do remember going over to your place too...Your parents were always nice.
By the way, it was my mother who remembered that Joel came over once or twice and actually broke the shoulder of my walking doll. If it weren't for her good memory, I would have not even remembered about dolls at all.

Long gone --- Parents moved to "Joisey" while I was in college at Syracuse and that was heartbreaker for me. Have been in northern Maine (I was a little out of place there, but it was fun), Lake Placid (during the Olympic period and that was a super blast), Oneonta (working in a satellite bureau for the Binghamton newspaper), and then Binghamton. Got my MBA at SUNY-B, but never wanted to move back to Queens or the 'burbs. I have a ton better things to do then waste time in traffic. Also, there's no skiing in Queens. I'm 35 minutes from an okay hill here. And there's no traffic to speak of here. My head aches bad when I stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, and it still happens on my frequent trips to the city, I married a woman from Little Falls, NY, just east of Utica. Binghamton was a good mid-point between my family in New York and her family in Little Falls and Lake Placid. Now I manage a newspaper Web site.
