I remember having lunch with you and speaking on the phone a few times. I think one of the last time we spoke was right after your second son was born. He must be all grown up by now.
I just passed your mom's house last Monday. My husband and I were in Queens and met my brother at the Palace Diner. We went on a little trip down memory lane. I miss the neighborhood.

Hi again, Please tell me that you are kidding about my brother Mark!!! Unless he did something horrible that I am unaware of, he really was an OK guy (altho I'm sure at the age of 8 or 10, brothers were "yucky"); and yes..he did marry my best friend who I met at Parsons JHS in 7th grade. Did you get my email about Debbie Moin? Any idea where she is? Regards, Linda

Yes, I am looking forward to it, and my siblings will hopefully go, too. Sadly, I have not kept up with 164 friendships(only HS and camp friendships!), so I don't know about anyone else. has anyone heard about Debbie Moin? I remember being friendly with her for years, but then lost touch. Thanks for writing! Linda

the stuff on this site does not come out right; for instance, when somebody replies, it doesn't show what they are replying about. but am pretty sure ii remember you, your house near the school and the lions. i also remember your mother yelling at a bunch of us kids who were playing and/or taking a short-cut through your yard (i think). and i am planning on coming to the reunion even though i left the neighborhood in 1965.

My father also stayed in the same house until he died ( 5 years ago). I don't remember Cookie living on your block; I thought she lived near Main St and Jewel Ave...she and I became friends in camp as teenagers, and I have no memory of her from 164. Do you remember Debbie Moin? I haven't seen her name on the website, and I was friends with her throughout elem. school. I didn't go into SP which explains losing track of friends in a school as big as Bowne. Did you go to Queens College? Where do you live in Queens? I lived in Briarwood and Kew Gardens after I got married and moved to Fair Lawn, NJ almost 20 years ago. My husband is from Bayside and he had his elem. school reunion a few years ago and loved it! Keep in touch!

It was so nice to hear from you! Aren't memories funny? I remember that you had very long hair and I believe your house was very close to the school (and I think you had lions in front of your walkway). I know we were at each other's b'day parties, and I also remember Barbara Karnis(red hair, right?). I don't think either of you went to Parsons JHS or Bowne, did you? What are you doing with your life and where do you live? Do you keep in touch with anyone else? My brother Mark will get a kick out of being remembered as not so nice :-)...Keep in touch!
