Wow I'm so sorry about that scar... I recently told that story to someone actually, but it wasn't Marc Habert. It was this kid whose name I can't remember that I had had a fight with earlier. He was choking me with my own hood from behind and I swung my brown paper lunch bag in defense. The can ripped through the bottom and hit you.You were in the last seat of the bus... I was in the middle...I can still see it as clearly as if it was yesterday. And now I feel guilty all over again... forgive me? Yes, I do ride the F train when I'm home. I'm back now for five days before South American tour-- you drink coffee?

That *was* my daughter. She was about 8 in that pic and is almost 12 now...be scared. Be very very scared. It's coming for you, too :) She is still, undoubtedly, the most beautiful woman in the world, just as she was then...except now she is also a surly brooding adolescent. It's still endearing though, to me at least :P

Don't remember the party, do remember one at your place where your dad had made some kind of giant board game called the "Franz Stakes". Also remember chasing you (literally) up 76th Ave. (no, didn't remember that on my own, that's why there's Google Earth), tripping, cracking forehead open, crowd of ppl standing around gasping and me not knowing why...until the blood covered my eyes. Still have the scar, btw, which was invisible until my, um, hairline started to, um, shall we say look for higher ground?

My mom has become a cat lady. She has 4 in her apartment and feeds another 10 or so down in her parking space, even though the Tel Aviv municipality has officially made it a crime to do so. Other than that, it's hard to say she has changed at all.

What bizarre things we chose to remember, eh?

Wow - Hello Grace! How are things? Funny thing is that I moved to Chicago for a minute in'96 and ran into....Kenny Edwards. He went to school there to be a lawyer and was living large (smile) Have you heard from him since? Anyway, I've been in Los Angeles since '99 but my parents still have their apt on Park Drive East - they retired to W.Palm Beach but nice to have an apt to go back to when they're in NY as my sister and her family live in Wantagh. Thank you. I worked fo Dr. Ruben when I was in college, part time. I'm very busy with work, school, and my dog, oliver who takes up way too much of my time! My kids are pretty self sufficient, in fact sara is away at school, though I see her more than most parents get to see their college kids. I'll talk to howie and have him run some dates by you.
