Hi Glen. If you are related to Geri Savits, Class of 65, I have a copy of "The Echo from Mid-Queens," April 1965, which has Geri's story called "My Pesty Alarm Clock" in it. Geri was in Class 6-2. If you would like a copy of the story, let me know your e-mail address and I will send it to you.
just stopping by to say hi Glen! just found Maxine Pincas!! and would u believe when I showd the 4th grade pic at work, a lady whose mom is a resident at the home looked and recognied Maxine as her childhood neighbor!! Its a small world!! hope all is well!
ginger
hi there.
indifferent? i think not..
sounds like you have a very busy life with your family-wow! i'm sure you must be very proud and broke with all those tuitions. you should be relieved that one dropped out! haha!! where does your son study dance? we're into our ballet season at my job and i'm going to see Swan Lake tonight. kinda hard to drag myself there on a day off, but i'm determined..
lost touch with just about everyone until i found melanie and ruben on facebook, and now so many more on this site. i actually visited 164 about 8 or 9 years ago when i was staying with some friends in forest hills. it was such a sweet little school and the neighborhood hadn't changed much at all.
would love to see you in september. let's stay in touch.

Hi Glen, I know this is kinda crazy. It's pretty amazing being in touch again.
I was feeling nostalgic a few months ago and googled you!, but this is better.
You were my first crush...
Life is good. San Francisco is beautiful. Happily married, no kids, working as
operations manager at the S.F. opera-serving the rich and helping them to feel even more elite, but I get to see a lot of wonderful performances and work in a beautiful environment. As you can see I haven't changed a bit...
Are you still in touch with Leonard? Tell me more..
Liz
I know is this weird or what!!!. You know Im trying to sleep and all Im doing is thinking of my childhood!! HAHA I looked melanie up on a total fluke this afternoon, I have no idea why or what made me do it. She told me you were on this and I swear I always wondered where you were and how you were doing. Ive been making all kinds of replies to comments and really not sure if Im laughing or crying thinking about it! I know I moved in 6th grade and it was tragic for me leaving so my childhood is very precious to me. I moved to Westbury where my mom still lives and where I work with the old folks. I dont live too far away in an apt in Bellmore. Boy I am just absolutely beaming thinking about 164 lol!!! But youre right it is soooooo strange,,I mean hell, we're 50 ....we were 5!!HAHAHA seeing someone I havent seen in 10 yrs is a long time,,,but 40!!!! OMG!!!!
hey! Its Debbie Labensky in disguise!!! for some reason, I remember the day I moved from Queens right before graduation 6th gradeand u were standing at the fence looking sad and I realized in my little heart that I was leaving and well,,for some reason, Ill always remember that moment. weird, right? Id say "you had to be there" but you werelol. Ayway, so happy you're doing well and just wated to say hello to my ol freckle face friend!! btw--I lost pics in a fire,,are there any of our class pics aroud?
Oh, as far as whom else I've been in contact with....got onto Facebook just to view a friend's photos several weeks ago, - been talking with Liz and Ruben on there, then Ruben suggested this site and I wrote to Helen Gittleson and Peter Jacobson - haven't heard back yet.
So nice to hear from you.
......Yes, Ruben is quite the yenta!
Aww, don't be so hard on yourself - you still have that cute boyish face and grin! Women have it easier, we can color our hair (I do) and we don't usually lose any of it. And I struggle with my weight. We're middle aged - good health is the main thing now....
Yes, I stayed with the art thing - went to the H.S. of Art & Design, and the School of Visual Arts for college (both in Manhattan), loved both schools....but for work I had to learn how to draw on computer for the last 12 years. Yes, Liz and I were the best of friends for many years (lived around the block from each other) but started going our own ways in college. I just reconnected with her after about 20 years.....She is in San Francisco, married, no kids, food manager for the San Francisco Opera House! So you have college age kids too - wow, hard to believe they ever grow up like they do, right?
Glen! Fellow Jersey-ite, I live in Marlboro - was talking with Ruben on Facebook, he reminded me of you......I remember you with a large flop of hair, freckles and a big grin. Lawyer huh? Who would have thunk it? lol.
Hi Glen, I was friends with your sister Geri all through school; can you ask her to email or call me. A mutual friend of our has passed away and she would want to know. Thanks, jsomeck@aol.com
