Great to hear from you. Sounds like we have similar memories of Madame "La Sorcière/The Witch" Berman. I once exaggerated a knee injury to keep from going downstairs to her class.
Anyway, I was happy to see you're a psychoanalyst, a profession I have great admiration for. (I had a wonderful analysis with Dr Peter Zimmermann who founded a Self Psychology Institute on the upper west side.) I'll keep posting memories and good and bad and I hope you do the same... I look forward to reading them.

ah, wasn't that her great-grandfather? btw, how is your violin technique these days? I still remember your breaking a "d" string right before a concert (which was at a different school in queens) You went out on stage and played "air violin" for the entire performance! I think we were in 5th or 6th grade

Ha ha, funny you should ask. I heard Mrs. Farkas is holding glee club auditions for a community theater production of Pirates of Penzance, and Marsha *69ed me (after all these years) and we play duets, she is quite a cellist
