Hi Barbara. I hope you had a safe trip back to California. Thanks for singing the school song with me. You have a beauitiful singing voice and I never heard it sound more beautiful than when you sang it last night! My cousin Janice Montner Asherman (Class 70), my sister Vickie Baird (Class 65) and I sing it from time to time and then laugh and giggle like we are still kids at P.S. 164.

It doesnt seem as if i will make it to this deal. I thought i would be a sure thing in going, but do to a unforseen situation......oh well. Just joined myself per Carol's prompting. I remember that you always had the lead in the glee club plays. Still best friends with Jane Wittenberg Basch and see Ron Strauss once a year in the Hamptons. Living in San Diego since 78, married with 2 kids. Be well.

i am busily at work on "in Plain Sight" for USA and starting a new series for ABC Family this wednesday called "Make it of Break It" (about teen gymnasts hoping for the olympics...)
i still hope to go to nyc for the reunion but am not sure whether i can take off work...fingers crossed...also, i didn't see anyone on the list that i know!

OK...so after 40 years this is all a bit surreal! I can't believe this site-- what a blast from the past. Hope life's been good and all is well with you. I don't know how i would have known, but i think i heard you moved to CA. Maybe someone my mother ran into. I've lived in Roslyn for 18 years. My son is a jr. at Cornell, my daughter is a senior in HS, and my youngest son is 10 --5th grade.
When i signed on and it asked for your 6th gr teacher, I blanked on the name so I dug out my little blue autograph book from 6th gr graduation and found a bunch of pictures in it. I haven't thought about ps 164 in a long time so this brought back a rush of memories! There's a couple of pix in my apartment with you, Judy Berk,Nancy Vermont, Kathy Farkas, Butch Rosenberg, Philip Grossman and Joey Kaso. I have pix from 6th grade graduation, bday parties and one of you, Fran Sobel, Lisa Wexler, Tina Ganz& Laurie Price wearing plaid skirts and berets. It triggered a memory of all of us doing a dance to a song about the constellations. Do you remember that or i am dreaming it??
I reenacted it for my daughter. I don't remember anything on a day to day basis, but i still remember part of the little jig and the song!! There's another picture of you, judy, nancy v, elyse rosansky, and barbara golann at a restaurant which i think our mothers took us to for 6th grade graduation lunch.
I have a box of mementos that my mother gave me when she moved out of her house. Leave it to Annette Ringler to save everything! I have the program from the Glee Club production of Sound of Music, and a program from Mrs. Blumes 3rd grade class play in five scenes called New York, New York. Do you remember it? We performed "Kids" from Bye Bye Birdie, and you and I were Night Club Entertainers in the Greenwich Village Night Club Scene. I remember being dressed as a beatnik, do you? I don't have a clue as to how you post all this on the site. Maybe my daughter could do it, or if you give me your address i'll send you copies. i'll give u my email address.
From reading your profile, i see you're still in touch with judy, kathy and nancy. How great is that! i look forward to saying hi to everyone and hearing back from you. Forty years is alot to catch up on, but fill me in on a little of it!

yes, we did know we went to p.s. 164 together, but i think you're younger than me...i was class of '65...yes, i had mrs. bromberg in 6th grade, too. igc. but never in the glee club with you talented singers! funny to write on this website to you...when we live so close...how are the kids doing? is dylan liking college? hope you are well.
ali started at boston university this year! just got back from dropping her off.
deirdre is in her senior hear at u.c.s.b. - loving it, wishing it would never end...
my house is empty. sorta love it, sorta hate it.

Barbara--- take a look at 1965- 4-2 3rd row from the top 2 nd from the right---- I was in Oliver, ( I was a milk maid) The Sound of Music (- in the chorus ) and one other one-- don't remember--- You went to Bowne correct ? Did you know Michele Karvin or Susan Danziger? I was in love with Todd Zazulia-- and then Donald Pretto--- too funny---

How are you do you remember me? I spok with Joan Schragin today and told her about this website--she told me your Mom just passed--- so sorry- My Mom passed last year---it's tough now and hurts so muscj--- but in time - it will get better--- not a dau goes by that I don't think anout my Mom...
