hi, and yes, you are right; i am wrong. the Arlene i was talking about was my sister's friend and i just saw her in one of the vintage class photos on the site)... lived in the garden apartments across from the school like around 138th street. itaking me a little while to "get up to speed" - slowly remembering people/street names..if you want to see me in one of the photos: 1965 class 6-2 2nd from the left front row...Peter

i believe my sister (peggie monroe; class of '68) was friends with Arlene Levy. Was she class of '68? i do remember she lived in the apartments next to the school, was pretty and had dirty blonde shoulder-length hair.

I believe I do remember. Great memory you have.
My sister was married in '64 and moved to Wash DC. Raised two smart kids and still teaches reading in grammer school in Va.
Steve is on LI and has two daughters. He's a stockbroker.
We don't see each other often and have not been very close through the years.

It's Jeff Marcus. Of course I remember you from 141-11. Edith, Archie and your two older sisters, Susan and.....
I live in Central, NJ in a town called Marlboro for the past 20 years. I married Jill Braunstein from 72nd Ave.
We have two sons, 27 and 23. The older one is married and living in Philly.
It's nice to hear from you after all these years. I see you correspond with Marlene so I will write her too.

hi, i remember your name but i can't remember what you look like! i remember kenny very well, we were together for a few grades. what a memory you have, my dog was doodles and she was half dalmation and half standard poodle. i live in west palm beach since '96. if you ever get together with any people from the old days pls contact me. i have three children 28, 25 and 23 and am widowed. i would love to see you. do you remember arlene levy, she was the major door monitor. she is still my best friend and has been since kindergarten. looking forward to hearing from you, barbara

I remember you had a big dog, I think a standard poodle, named Doodles. I have been in Florida since '76, Miami. Where are you?

hi again, i am so sorry that i never got that e-mail! i would love to see you and reminece. i also knew about barry because my older sister susan was in touch with him about 15yrs ago, before i moved to fla. i also saw his wife gail at a wedding in ny about 4yrs ago. i am calling lynn to laugh abput your memory of her. our mthers did go to beth israel and so did my sister susan. she lives in west palm also and lynn lives in sarasota. my parents are both deceased and never go to see me live in fla. where they lived. so sad. i also spoke to everyone that attended the reunion the nite of. they all called me because i could not go because my husband was in the last stages of pancreatic cancer. well enough depressing things. my cell is 561-602-3420 and call me anytime and maybe we can have a mini reunion. love, barbara

Of course I remember you!! In fact in 1999 when there was a Jamaica High School reunion I sent you a very long email telling you all my memories of you, your sisters and parents.
You must not have received it. Anyway, I remember your apt. and
your sisters teaching us all the latest dances. A favorite of your sister Lynn's was "A Quarter to Three". Your parents were so
sweet. Would you believe my parents are going to be 88 and 97
in a few weeks? They live in their own home in Boca and I visit
them twice a week to oversee their care. In fact, for some reason
last year I decided to read their Boca Pointe newsletter and couldn't believe that Barry Haberman was the community President!!! So, of course I called him and told him that whenever summer rolls around I always think of his parents and that awful tragedy. Didn't our mothers go to Beth Israel Nursing School together? You mom's name was Edith Nathan, right? I'll have to look through a million pictures because I think I have some of your mother.
Since the '99 Jamaica reunion I've been in touch again with Cindy Heller. Trudi Zelcer lives in Miami also.
I saw Carin Hackman in one of the class pictures- do you remember her? She lived across the street from you. I'd love to see you!
