Hi Amy Applebaum, Jimmy and Jane-

I don't really remember you well , but I recall all of your family names. I lived directly across the street from you at 75-31 141st Place. My cousins are the Steiker family, just 5 houses down from us. We had the semi attached house with the walkway through to the alley. I remember that the Steikers were friendly with your parents.
I have 2 brothers, Seth and David who still live in NY. Francine Steiker sold her home recently and moved to Philadelphia, to be near Ellen and Joel and Jason is upstate NY. Both my parents are here in Florida too. Please mention the connection to your brother and sister. I'm sure they might recall the Moin family and the Steiker family.

Hi Amy Applebaum. This is Elaine Wolff. I definitely remember you. This is amazing. I am going to get my p.s. 164 school pictures. I know we were in several classes together. Just was reminiscing last night and decided to google p.s. 164. i had to respond to who my 6th grade teacher was. it was amazing how it just came to me...Mrs. Giordano. As though it was yesterday. Ir seems like I did it again. I don't know how your last e-mail slipped by me, but it did. I just wanted to quickly reply, in case you are planning to visit your friend in L..A. in the near future, that I woiuld love to get together. Please keep me informed of your plans.
As you can tell, I'm not the most punctual (or elegant) comunicator, but I certainly am always interested in remaining connected to old friends - speaking of which, I recently got together with Linda (Lipitz), her husband and son. It was a great reunion!

My son lives in Croton-on-Hudson. Is that anywhere near Rhinebeck? Of course, I could look at a map...
Being Granny & Grandad is fun for us, altho we don't get to see the kids often enough. My son has 3 boys (8-6-3) and my daughter has our princess (turning one tomorrow), living in Baltimore. My folks live 10 minutes from us & they are doing fine. Old age is tough to endure & to support, but we are happy to be sharing Paradise with them. My sister lives in Forest Hills, in the same building as my cousin Robert Cohen.
I do not intend taking the trip up for the reunion - please keep in touch.

Sorry, I don't know what happened below. Well, what a treat it has been to hear from you and so many other friends. I see that you found Daisy. We have remained good friends and just spent 2 weeks together in Ecuador. I enjoyed looking at your website. Very impressive! I had been visiting NY about 2 or 3 times a year (work related and vacationing). Now that I'm not working and my parents both passed away, I don't know when I'll be back. Do you ever come out to LA?

By the way, I am also "googleable" and you can see some of my work on some group websites...especially placitasartists.com. I really do hope we can meet and talk in the future. It's interesting how many different paths we have taken after leaving 76th Avenue.

Wow...great to hear from you, Amy. Your work certainly sounds interesting. I retired a year ago and have been traveling and doing my thing here in NM. I'm still not sure about coming to the reunion, although hearing from everyone is making me think about it more seriously. I'm glad you're connected to a natural environment. My local herd of 8 wild horses just stopped by yesterday. No woods here, but beautiful vistas in all directions. If I don't come to NY, I hope we can connect in the near future.

Now the bad news, Bunny passed away from breast cancer 4 years ago. She was always looking for her old schoolmates and found some on AOL a few years back. I am sure you were one of the people she would have loved to hear from.
Bunny never had children, but always loved them*
I have all her class pictures and have written to the moderator of the board as to where to place them. I know you are in them and don't know if you have them. If you can tell me what grades you and Bunny were in the same class, I will send them to you by email.
I really can't wait to tell my mom, sho by the way, still lives in the same house!

This is Arlene Levy.......my sister was Bunny Levy. When I went through some of her pictures.....your name and a few others I was able to remember! I remember you, Barbara Berlin, Ellen Barrie and Ritchie Reed. Have you kept in touch with many of your former schoolmates?
I have all of Bunny's Class photos, so if you would like I will figure out how to post them.
