Well I'm sorry to hear that - please tell Morty that I have great memories of him that will last a lifetime, and that I truly wish him the best. I remember sometimes wishing that he was MY uncle!

Doubt I'll be in NY at that time. Looks like you made yourself a great family. I must say that I did too, married 29 years, two girls 23 and 20 - got one through college and have 1 more year left for the younger one - then it's "party time" for my wife and I. - In any event, tell me how is your uncle (Morty if I remember correctly?) I'll never forget making signs for him for that strip club in Jamaica - it was 5 bucks a sign and at that time it was pretty good money!

After all the years of competitive sports as a kid I needed some way to channel my energy. I took to doing Triathlons and running races (couple of marathons before my back gave out). I felt kind of silly when I used the picture, but it was the latest family picture I had. You have a great looking family also.

Harvey, I just received a note from Steven Perlmutter mentioning you. I have to tell you, I remember what a great job you and your uncle (Morty) did coaching our baseball team. Looking back, it was a real nice thing you both did. I only have good memories of you. I know everyone is asking about your sister, but send her my regards also. Good to see you stayed in sports. Boy! I hit it on the nose, didn't I? If you read my bio, you'll see that I'm interested in interior design and antiques. I can't believe, though, that I guessed the house was a Frank Lloyd Wright design. It must be because I recently finished reading "Loving Frank" -- a fictional novel written from the perspective of Wright's mistress, Mamah B. Anyway, how can Falling Water be a vacation home for you? Isn't it a museum now? Or is your wife part of the Kaufmann family? (Yes, I did some research on the house, since you gave it a name. I understand, now, that it's FLW's most famous work -- the greatest example of his architecture. Very cool!)

You are one of the few guys that I would currently recognize from their picture as opposed to when you were 12. Yes, Steve was Danny's brother, had lost touch with him for maybe 25 years, and then Brad gave me the bad news. If you ever get down to Fort Lauderdale/Boca area, lets get together.

I don't know if you remember me. Like Susan Wilkins, I, too, was a classmate of your sister, but I moved away after 6th grade. I remember riding in the back seat of your mom's VW -- now a classic car! -- and hanging out in your apartment. Didn't you have a grand piano there? I live in Montgomery County, PA -- not too far from you. (Wynnewood, to be exact.) Your wife and son look familiar to me. Do you do any family activities on the Main Liner, perhaps? Is that your house, in the photo? It looks like a Frank Lloyd Wright design! Anyway, please send my regards to Jackie! (Sorry about the inferiority complex! Thinking back to PS 164 the things I remember most are bowling, basketball and your sister. Bowling at Regency Lanes with QVAA, playing and watching basketball in the school yard at 164 and hanging at your house with your sister and Ricky Burns. Hope all is well.
