I live in Woodbury now, and my brother inherited the house we both grew up in.

I'm wondering if we had any of the same teachers.  What teachers, in what grades, did you have?

Why not? Would be great to see u- I talk to Lew Bader, Rick Ginsberg- saw Harold Schiff and Marty Schiff and still the very best of friends with Ruth Perlman and Karen Gang. I remember all of your neighbors too....

When r u coming down?

Both of my parents passed away- within 4 months of each other- just this year......

Hi Jeffrey, My brother and your's were friends, Larry Fox. He is at the National Institutes for Health in Bethesda in Infectious Diseases. I;m the Membership Director at the Central Queens Y where you were a member for a little while if my memory is correct. Come back and I'll give you a good price $$$, LOL. I'm interested that you are living in the house you grew up in. That's very cool and comforting for you. I still go by there on my way to the doctor's office on 141st and vleigh place, Dr. Siddiqui. I came back to this site today because I had a message from Harold Schiff (yesterday was my birthday!!). I happened to see you on the list and thought I would write. You look amazingly the same!! I believe that our older brothers crossed paths a few years back. Sorry to hear about your folks. My mom passed away far too early (in 1980), my father years later in 1996.

I'm not in contact with many from the old days. Don Reichman and I stay in touch, as I do with Jeff and Mike Schwartz. Myles Schacter lives here in Lawrence and we get together occasionally. Last year a bunch of us from 164 and Parsons who played sports together had a little soiree in the Village when I was in NY for business. We had a blast. We talked about playing ball at 164 park and the fear we all had of hitting balls over the right field fence into the Salgo back yard! Bet you didn't know your family was so famous!!

I've moved around quite a bit. Did a doctorate in public policy and education at the University of Chicago, then have lived the life of an academic in New Orleans, South Carolina, Colorado, and now Kansas. I keep moving to places further removed from anywhere I ever thought I might end up! But we all love Lawrence, Kansas where the university resides.

Sounds as if you have lived an interesting life. Nice to connect.

I remember you--I think we were in a few classes together. I sort of remember you being, if not the tallest, one of the tallest in the class. Am I right? I live in Port Washington now--not far. I hope you are well and maybe you remember me too.

Hi Jeffrey, It is Liz Teitsman Atterman, and I have enjoyed reading all the discussions. I miss hearing from your dad on emails, as he was so tech savvy in his later years! Also he used to give us so much news of the "block." So it is nice to know you are carrying on the tradition and living in your house on 76th Ave!!
I live in San Anselmo California with my husband Ken. We have two daughters who also live in the Bay Area. My mom, Bea is alive, albeit without her memory, but is living at the Jewish Home in Atlanta near my sister Debby Bea turned 90 in June. Debby has been a wonderful daughter to mom, and I visit at least four times a year.
I also visited our street about 15 years ago, and the couple from Israel who bought the house from my parents invited me in to see the house. It was NOT the same, as they added a porch (so porch is on same level as Goldschmidts and Lipitz) and that was disappointing.....Are the Goldschmidts still alive?

one more FPC thing: i worked in the dining room sophomore year (you were a junior) and i had a white 1971 Triumph Spitfire.

you were one year ahead of me in 164 and FPC. i vaguely remember the radio station and it's call letters. i actually live in massachusetts, but am about an hour and 15 mins from Rindge. I go to Keene often and also Brattleboro. at FPC i lived in (i think the name was) Edgewood. we went skiing at Crotched Mountain and for our bigger trips went to Okemo. in hindsight i had an interesting time there. tell me some other FPC remembarances if you'd like. i was always attracted to this area of New England and the reason i am here today.

i attended Franklin PIerce for 2 years 1971-73. transferred and graduated univ of colorado. i live close to FPC now on the border of NH, VT and MA. you were 1 year ahead of me and your name is familiar.

Hi there, Jeffrey, you kind-of look familiar...I grew up on 76th rd and Mainstreet---MOBIL gas station used to be on my corner. Willie's candy store was my favorite place for chocolate egg-creams...Pat Gintinio and Mark Rayback, and the TISH brothers would make them for me....not all at once...I am living in Forest Hills---I am a Kindergarten Teacher....speak soon---CINDY

Your cousin,kathy, phoned me yesterday with a Shanah Tovah. I hope to convince her to come to the reunion. Whilst I wasn't privy to play ball with the boys and try to hit your house, I was playing punch ball,ring o leevee o and tag with Kathy, Judy and Barbara at the other end of the playground.
