We were in every class together. My mother still has some of the class pics. I need to scan them in some day. You look exactly the same which is great. We were like Dennis the menace and Margaret. Time flies but life has been awesome.

Hi Cindy, sorry but neither name rings a bell. Its been along time since graduating 6th grade in 1963 so it's possible I did know them back then.

Cindy, sorry i haven't been to this site in a long time, how are you? has it been 40 years that seems like a lifetime ago. hope all is well! who do you still speak to?

I do indeed remember you, and once I saw your picture, I thought, she hasn't changed a bit! I always remembered your freckles! I was in Miss Sondike's class, although I do remember Mr. Luhr down the hall! I remember Janice Quick as well, but I haven't seen her in years and years! I don't know how I happened on this site, but I'm so glad I found it!! I am a teacher too - although at the other end - high school Social Studies. I loved the one year I was at PS 164. I think you went to Parsons too? Do you remember Mr. Hoenig - the SS teacher there. Well, he lives in my apartment building! Ha! Looks the same.

Please let me know if you will in Florida in January. I would love to see you and I will bring Ivy along. Keep in touch. I hoping to fly up for the reunion in June. I am excited to see everyone.

Hi Cindy: Thanks for writing. I do remember you very well. Whenever I see someone with freckles, I think of you because you were the first person I ever knew with freckles. We were in many of the same classes together. Do you remember Mrs. Simon bringing Paul in to sing to us in first grade? That's a story that gets a lot of wows from people I meet. Sounds like you've had a great life teaching and raising 2 children. I'm glad you remember my mother. She was very sick and died from pancreatic cancer back in 1987. But she was a really nice woman. As you guessed, I ended up in Missouri because my wife Jenifer is from Missouri. We met when we were both at Cornell and I followed her to Missouri. We've been together for 21 years and have a 17 year old son. I'm so used to Missouri now that I feel a little overwhelmed when I go back to New York to visit. I'm not sure if I can make it to the reunion. Will have to see.

I'd love to give a talk. I have been a speaker at the Apple Store in SOHO speaking on other work. Underwater video and my documentary "Breaking Free" disabled people learning to Scuba Dive. Also a speaker at the United Cerebral Palsy National Conference and many Dive Shows.

I will add more of them as I find them. Glad I am not the only one who has stayed here in Queens! I couldn't think of a better place to raise children than here. I turned out okay.......and so have they!

The Schecters are well, Bob lives on a farm near Cobelskill, NY, Bill is a surgeon living in San Francisco. The Prettos still have their house in Queens though Richie talks of retiring to Colorado(he just told me he is going out again on Tuesday). I met Steve's wife very briefly at Joe's house but I don't really know very much about her.

Himself. I am still friendly with the Prettos and Joe Tsue as well as Bill Schecter.
Steve is such an odd point in time to associate youself with since I remember you when you were still dating Donnie and before, as a little girl, to me, seen from Ben Schecter's porch. I am living in Great Neck with Barbara and our sons are now away in college.

i think it only had 45s from the old days - the juke-box was toward the back, dead-center; to the left of the bar.

We also used to go to "La Stella" on Queens Boulevard; much fancier (not a family place like Stella Dora), and iremember mafia guys eating there. Len Hing on Queens Blvd was another favorite. we went out to eat alot...btw, how was your summer?
