i just read the article about Escaveda in the Chronicle. I cannot believe he works with chuck Prophet, who I love. did you ever hear his song called"It's a Summertime Thing"? those 2 together make perfect sense.i'm blown away. wish i could run that "keepaustinweird 5K, it sounds right up my alley. remember all the alleyways in queens?

i really like his new song about feelin the love or something. my radio station up here plays him a lot. he's such a good rocker and his rhythms are so good. i'll check out that site. did you ever go to concerts when you were a teenager?

i'm sure i meant Austin for the festival. Nancy, Philip called me the other day and as soon as he said hello, I said hi Phil. He said, you recognize my voice, and I said nobody has a voice like you. He then when on to tell me he ran into at some biking event. Hope your doing well. I keep in touch with Jimmy Morales, Philip and Todd Zazulia and now I guess you and Judy. I live in Austin and Jimmy lives in Houston. I book bands for a side line. Jimmy comes to Austin and we go and listen to music. I guess you read my life in 3 sentences. Two daughters, 21 and 17. Divorced last year, after 22 years of marriage. How's the separation? Do you plan on getting back together or are you planning the big "D"? Stay in touch.

It's been a long time since the reunion and the time we went out to dinner, many, many years.
All is well here. My three daughters are: 24, 22, and 18. Oldest is living in DC, middle one graduated from Rice and went off to Europe for a pilgrimage, walking 500 miles through Spain, and the youngest returns from Israel (3 month HS program) this weekend. I work at a museum 30 hours a week and still ride my horse.
