Alan, It was so good to hear from you. It's amazing how much I do remember from those years. I remember that you lived on 70th Road and your best friend was Robert Weinroth. Do you remember when we were in 6th grade we would go to either Joyce Feinberg's or Harvey Passes's house on Friday nights, play spin the bottle and then watch Twilight Zone with the lights off? Sometimes it feels like that was just yesterday. How the hell can we all be (or almost be) 60! Your profile says that you have 2 kids in college - boys, girls, where do they go to school? Are you married? You've seen my profile. I've been living in Virginia since 1975. I did graduate work at the University of Maryland from 72-74 (husband #1), then went back to NY for a year. Then back down south in '75 and remarried in 76. Both of my parents are gone. My stepmother is still living on Park Drive East. I don't get back to NY very often but when I do I sometimes walk around the old neighborhood. My husband and kids are getting tired of me pointing out the same memories.

Oh my gosh! I always wondered whatever happened to my first crush - kindergarten (although we didn't officially like each other until 6th grade). How are you? I've been living in McLean, VA for the past 34 years. I'm a special education administrator in a high school. I have a wonderful husband for the past almost 33 years and two incredible kids - my daughter Erin is starting her 4th year of med school and my son Craig graduated from college two years ago and is working with my husband in his business. I've reconnected with many friends from the past from a variety of reunions and other connections - Iris Erlbaum, Sandy Weinberg, Allyn Cohen, Larry Fox, Ellen Greenberg, Robert Farkas, Andy Steele, Jon Rael, Barbara Tsao - to name a few. I was going to go to the reunion but not many from our years are going so I'm not going to make the trip. I've never been to Colorado but I hear it's beautiful. I'd love to hear from you. Would be great to catch up.

actually, i did not like living in Boulder. it was too "knee-jerk" hippie at the time (actually just-past 'peak'-hippie period). i found it too silly and a little un-intellectual. i didn't like at the time how everyone said "howdy." but have friends to this day from when i metriculated. i agree it is a good change from new jersey. i lived in nyc until 11 years ago and not sure what took me so long to get out - some psychological thing/ thinking there is no life outside the metropolitain area (of course not making nearly as much money - think that is the mental-construction that prevents people from leaving a confusion with the $ as a sort of life-line. i'm glad you like it there, and the in-state tuition for your kids certainly a bonus. you must have had a more interesting time there in '71. last time i visited in the mid-80's it had become gentrified - noticed that starting ('The New York Deli" - horrible food, btw) just before i left CU in '75.

we lived on 137th street near before (forgot avenue names) it "T"d off (the other end of 137th st from PS 164.

Alan, it has been many years but you are still remembered. I caught a picture of you a few years back in an article about a Camp Ananwana reunion. Hope you are well.

hi - i liked Boulder, but i'm real an east-coast person. i moved back here (and have lived in New England for a long time. Boulder and CU was good for Geography and Geology (which i minored in for a while). i skied a little (Loveland, and for our bigger trips to Vail). actually used to put my ski on my shoulder and hitch-hiked to Loveland. CU/Boulder was just-past hippie-vibes and the hippie days when i attended.

i lived on 137th street on the other end (can't remember what avenue 70-something) from PS 164 where it stops/Tees off...

hi - i was in the PS 164 class of '65. but see you are from Boulder. i graduated there in '75...
