I have only a few memories of the Girl Scouts. We once took coffee cans, glued macaroni to them and spray painted them gold. And I think we did the play The Wizard of Oz. I was never a Brownie, just a Girl Scout in Fourth and Fifth Grade. I seem to recall you wearing a Brownie uniform to school on Brownie days.

By the way, I remember going to your apartment fairly frequently and I am pretty sure we were in the same Girl Scout troup. Once we went to someone else's apartment near yours (I think we were in fifth grade) and there was a man who was an artist in there. He said he wanted to paint a portrait. It was a bit creepy, but that was the entire incident so it was really no big deal.

Hi Nancy! I'm not sure you'll remember me. We were friends back at P.S. 164. I moved to Connecticut in the middle of 6th grade, so I won't be surprised if you (and a lot of others from 164) don't remember me. I hope you'll have the chance to write back.

I figured it would be too difficult logistically for you. Thought I'd ask. I kind of want to go, but if no one from our class is going, there's no point. My sister Beth is 5 yrs younger, and a lot of her class is going. Seems like many of our classmates moved to CA. Are you in Monterey? Visited there a few yrs ago...really liked it.
Yes, it's too bad about Feinbloom. He started getting weirder in 10th grade...got too fanatical about the martial arts. He found out that I also took some martial arts, so he would start baiting me to see what I could do if I fought back. I resisted as much as possible, but sometimes I would spar with him in the halls at Hebrew school...lol. I figured that there he wouldn't go too far.

Hey, Nancy. Trying to find out if any of our old classmates plan to attend the reunion. I'm considering going. My sister and her friends will be there. I found out that if the check is sent in this week, one can still register and attend. Hope you and your family are well.

Wow, Nancy. I had forgotten that biliousness was the critical word. But I do remember those final moments of the 6th grade spelling bee. You and I went toe to toe. Out of curiousity, I always wondered if you were related to Rochelle Schachter who was a year behind us, and was good friends with my cousin Laurie.
This site's been excellent. It's great re-connecting with people you grew up with. Just got a note from Rob Sues. He told me that he's kept in touch with you. Anyone else from those days that you keep up with?

Left Verizon a little more than 5 years ago. They wanted me to be a bureaucrat (and I wanted to be an operations lawyer) and it was clear they didn't have a long-term commitment to Latin America, so I decided to control the timing of what I knew would be an eventual exit. Verizon sent me to Dallas (and their Latin American unit) after Mexico and, since my wife is a native and has most of her family here, she wanted to stay. So we're here -- even though my job is in NY.

Are you still in Monterey, at the marine biology labs/acquarium? I lost your email address/phone in a hard drive crash after you found me in Mexico.
