Hi- Mom sold the apartment about 5 years ago and is now full time in Florida - 91 and still driving.  Larry is in Seattle doing well.  My son is in Switzerland working for my company, Stemedica, which makes stemcells.  I just came back from a trip there.

I have a place in NYC and try to get there as much as I can.

Jamaica, Stony Brook, Rutgers and NYU for school.

At SAIC for 10 years whose headquarters is in McLean and made a buch of trips there.

Sounds like you are doing well.

I think Ralph Rothenberg (no relation) once told me that Eliot was a partner at E & Y and did some tax work for him.  I was a tax partner in NY for Deloitte for a time.

What memories. I can't remember what I had for dinner 2 days ago but remember the times we had like it was yesterday. Great hearing and thinking of you. Do you have a current pic?

I remember you well Meryl. In fact, I can pick you out easily from our kindergarten class picture. I remember Dale Burrows as well. I see you have made contact with her. Oh my goodness - how great to hear from you.Yes, Joel had told me about seeing you over the years and isn't that what they say in yiddish "bishert." Thank you for sharing your memories of my mother. I think I miss her more today than ever before. I was 10 when I moved fom the "courtyard"and 14 when she died. I went to the cemetary for the first time last year. My husband of 27 years, Jeremy, and I went to the old neighborhood just several weeks ago after we dropped our daughter Gail (who will be 20 in August) at the airport. As I always say, I like to go back and visit the ghosts. It feels good.

I remember your parents, too. Elaine and Walter, right? It is amazing that you still have a connection to Park Drive East. Jeremy and I drove around and theneighborhood is really quite beautiful. Clean, quiet and very jewish.

I wish you can come and would so love to see you. As I wrote to Ronni, I have my memories and want to share them. Jeremy is coming to.

I am a psychoanalyst ( as is Joel.) We most defintiely went into this work as a way to grapple with our own childhoods, I am sure.

Maybe you will change your mind. This is a once in a lifetime experience. Maybe Ronni will to. I would so love to see you. No one from my class is going wither but I don't care. IN any case, please stay in touch. I wouldso love to see you.

Sorry to hear about you and Elliot...I guess I imagined we could all "go home again". I keep dragging my husband to these things and thought a visit to the old neighborhood to see you, Joel and Debbie and then out to dinner would work. Please let me kno when you are in NYC....I come in and out of McLean to work at SAIC but never seem to stay too long. Keep me posted on the reunion, etc. Would love to catch up

There is no one from my class attending but I would like to propose you, elliot joel and debbie meet me (and Roger) about 1/2 hour before the event in the old neighborhood. what do you think?

I 'm not sure I will make it to the reunion but would love to see you and whoever else we can get together....do keep me posted. Let me know if you want to all meet at my apt in NYC or wherever...don't want to miss the opportunity. No one from my class is attending so I think we need to plan a neighborhood reunion.

No sure what I'm doing. I don't know if I want to spend $100 to eat at PS164??? I would love to see people but I don't even know who's coming, do you??? Can't make decision now it's too early for me. Mu son is getting married the end of June and who know what's going to come up.

Hi Meryl, how are you and where are you living?? I too have been in touch with Sandy but it has been a few years. How is Ellen and Iris . We were all such good friends and one time. Tell me everything. This is so very exciting hearing from you. I didn't go to the Jamaica reunion. Wasn't available but now I'm sorry I missed it. Yes it was my birthday I'm impressed that you would even remember. I forget myself sometimes. (lol) Please write and tell we must keep in touch. So great to hear from you, Meryl....and so much to catch up on. I can hear the voices of your mother and father (Walter) and Elliot saying, "oh ma ha ha ha ha" when he was hurt. We still have a house in Annapolis and I teach at UMD (currently now in McClean at SAIC for the U). We are back living in NYC (my mother fell last year and died of traumatic brain injury) and we moved my father (93) into an independent living home on the Upper West Side and we moved here too. I am (re)married...Have one son, 21 who is also in NY and my husband has two grown married daughters. Would LOVE to see you.---ronni

Meryl, I thank you for remembering me on my birthday. I recall the parties in front of the apartment. Hats and blowers, that's all we needed then.
