Hello Vickie,
I went to 164 with Diane. She found me and got me hooked up on this site. I love that photo of the Flamingo Beach Club Beauty Contest. My friends family were members but I wasn't. Had I known that was going on I would have climbed the fence! Hope to see you at the reunion. I am looking forward to it.

hi vickie - i almost was going to go to the re-union but too much of a schlep, and part of me is interested in the olden days and part not. we used to "summer" in Old Saybrook/Old Lyme in the early-to mid 60's. a place (long gone) called Middle Beach Hotel (now condos). living in nyc: i moved out of Manhattan about 7 or 8 years ago. always had 2 places (Mass and nyc) and now just the house up here near the Vermont/New Hampshire border. btw, i almost always start emails with "yo" so you don't have to qualify that. how can you/anyone live without a computer for 8 months? suppose just do your online stuff at work. i'm in front of it half of every day and use it for everything but walking the dog. were you aware, but there was a hierarchy of academic performance at P.S. 164 that separated the smart kids from the medium to the not-so-smart: after the IGC class was the "G" class (standing for "Good") which is the reason i was in the same class as you almost throughout. i have an interesting and specific memory/anecdote of something that happened when we had a long-term substitute in one of our classes involving a competition between you and me - think it was in Goldman/3rd grade. i'll get to it next email if you'd like. and, i reccomend moving from nyc - the less i'm down there the more centered i get. - peter

Hi Vickie. i remember you but not too sure if you would remember me. We were in lots of classes together. I am in Miami now and get back up there from time to time and I agree, Vleigh Place does not look too bad.
