Yes, we were in the corner - 78-17 Park Drive East and moved to the other side of the court to 135-18 78th Rd - special terrace which had been inhabited by Cary Fisher before us.

Larry is my brother and lives in Seattle.

I get to NY as often as I can because if I am in San Diego too long I miss it.

My mom sold the apartment about 5 years ago after being a Florida snow-bird.  She turned 91 last week.

Sometimes I wish we could go home again - play in the rockies, walk to school and come home for lunch. I only live about 5 minutes from SAIC and my school is about 10 minutes away. Let me know the next time you're in and we can meet for coffee if you don't have much time. I would love to see you. Talk to you soon.

Ronni, I'm not sure if I'm going to come up to NY. There are so very few people from my years going and my husband was not planning to come with me. If you want to go you can take my place since I already paid. But I am definitely planning to come up very soon and would love for us all to get together. I've seen Joel several times over the past year, but not Debra. How is Michael? I remember such stories about him. I have not spoken with my brother in a very long time - very long story. YES! But why don't you come, Ronni. No one from my class is coming either but it's food and time to be together. I went to the courtyard a few weeks ago and I want so to talk about our lives then. My husband, Jeremy, and I are going and so is Joel and his wife, Barbara. Are you? I see that Meryl is going. Do you remember Cheryl and Freddy Ringler? I was friends with Cheryl and will see if her name is on the alumni list.

I'm hoping that more people are planning to go. It would really be great to see everyone. I think that Joel is is going. I saw him a few weeks ago - he's friends with good friends of mine from here in VA - funny coincidence. I told him that he really needs to go. Maybe we can all get together and visit the old neighborhood. My stepmother still lives on Park Drive East in one of the terrace apartments. My girlfriend Iris and I went to visit 2 years ago and went up into the courtyard and went to our old building and the name Fuchs was still on the doorbell. It'a a long story and I'll tell you all about it when I see you. I'm not sure about my brother. Once we find out who is coming maybe we can plan something for those of us from the courtyard. I really think I wiil go with my husband. And I think Joel and his wife will go, too. He is in Israeli now but I will speak with him next week when he comes home.

My memorie are strong too, Ronni. It would be great to talk about them, because I find the more talking I do the more we remember, I love it.

I live in Dobbs Ferry with my husband of 26 years, Jeremy. who is a criminal lawyer. I am a psychoanalyst (doomed/ blessed to uncover the past in every interaction!!.) We have a terrific 19 year old daughter who is in her 2nd year of college in Madison, Wisconsin. I remember you and MIchael, Elliot and Meryl Levine, The Fishers lived next door to us, the Callins a few doors down from them. And Jonny and Jesse Berlin. Their mother and my mother were friends. Then my really good friend was Barbara Golan. And Sharon Mitchell. And I was friends with Sandy Stern and he had a brother, Howard. His mother and father, Elaine and Arthur, moved to Roslyn when we did, as did The Watsteins. My parents were also friends with Ellen and Elliot Kaye. Oh my.

This is Debra Kuppersmith and I am on the PS 164 website now and I just read what you said to my brother about my mother. I was very moved.

I remember your brother, Michael, who was sooooo adorable. I think, at 5 years old, I had a crush on him We used play make up games on the landing
in the "other" courtyard closer to PS 164. I think that he was the very first person to explain to me the "f" word. I can't believe I remember this.
