Yes, I was on a cruise last Nov with my Sweetie Bob. My daughter is going for her masters in Ed. My son works in heating & a/c like his dad. He just bought a condo. I'm proud! They are good kids. Renne, so sorry to hear about your moms passing. She was a lovely lady. My dadpassed away last year. My mom is still alive and lives in Delray Beach, Fl. I have to scan more pics on this site. We definately have to get together soon. I've been in touch with Kenny Koppelman too. Its nice to connect with old friends. I have such happy memories of Kew Garden Hills. Do you ever hear from Debbye Gitelson? So many namessound familiar but I can't place all of them.

Glad you remember me. I actually moved to Miami after 8th grade, but returned to go to Stony Brook and stayed. My son is 26 , my daughter is 23. W live on Staten Is. I'm divorced but in a relationship with a wonderful man who lives in New Hyde Park. You lived on the same block as the Simons & Scottos. Do you know what ever happened to Susan Scotto? I live in a small village called Zippori in the Galilee, you can see a video of our place on the 164 web-site (Zippori Village) and we run a B&B and a small farm. My folks spend half of every year on 70th road and the other half in Florida. I remember your Mom and I'm sorry she's gone, like I mentioned, there isn't anyone left there that I remember. The Orthodox are OK, they just don't send their kids to 164. Your husband has a cool name, no body names their kid Mitchell anymore, but it'll come back.

Renee, I had long straight hair back then! It got wavier in high school and extrememly curlier and I always had to blow it dry. I had to llive for my hair...now I just put in gel and the curls come out and no more blow dryer! No, I have not been in touch with too many people from hs or ps164. I think we lost touch when we went do different high schools...Jayne went to Hillcrest, I think and I belileve Hilary went to Bowne.

Hi Renee, Thanks for remembering the cat in the tree because I forgot. I was just on 70th Road a couple of weeks ago visiting my folks and I felt like a ghost. There isn't a single family left on either side of the street from all the people who were there when I grew up. And the new families, even though they are all Orthodox didn't seem to have many kids, at least there were none playing in the streets in the evenings. In the 60's and 70's there were dozens. I went out one evening with Nancy and another friend to Angelos on Main Street and went to the Jewish Center on Shabbat morn. I'm 50 years old but I was the youngest person there by twenty years.

I live in Hunterdon County NJ (20 minutes east of Easton PA) and I work in a vocational school. Last year I finally became "liberated" and went to NYC to have my hair done by the curly hair expert, thus all the curls. I was tired of fighting it! You can email me at ymagala@yahoo.com!
