Hi Mark,
I remember when you and your brother Rob moved from Sunnyside to 70th Road. Rob was the fastest kid in the neighborhood. Then again his competition was Scott Schlanger, Neil Janover, Craig Buckhalter, Mike Abler and myself. I remember many a game of Nerf basketball at your home. Upon entering the house we were always greeted by a pair of attack Shitzus. Tell Rob I said hello. Hope all is well...Hal Taylor.
Hey Mark, when I read your post I was thinking that some people really start young!:) I can't believe that I can remember almost everyone's name in that class, but I can't remember my kids' names sometimes! Do you remember a day each year that we were allowed to wear jeans? I think it was called Super Duper Day, or Super Jeans Day, or something like that.
Oh ok -I can understand not being into reunions-I would have no interest in going to the Hillcrest one. This seems different.
I didn't go to college graduation -I know how you feel about that too. Maybe I'll see you at Rob's when Ruthanne comes in. Take care, Claire
Mark,
Wow finding this site and seeing all the names from my youth and the great memories from 164 is unbelievable. I'm still in NY living on Long Island and married for 19 years with three teenagers. I'm a NYPD Detective for the last twenty two years looking forward to retiring from the NYPD and embark on a second career - but I'm undecided as to what that will be. Looking forward to hearing from you.-- Stan
Hey Mark, Glad to see that you are still playing. Do you still have the Univox that I traded you for the Hagstrom. Remember the McDonalds gig? I dont think I have seen you since about 1977. I am still in Queens (Bayside resident). Let me know if you play out, I will check you out. Cheers, Steve
Is Debra still married to Larry? I saw her last time in 1997 and I think she got married in 1998? Here's my real email mark@markpressman.com You can send it to her if she wants to correspond with me too. I will definitely call you when I am back in Palm Beach.
I just spoke to Debra. She's doin great. We're still great friends. She has a beautiful 3 yr. old girl. Still living in westchester with 40 students.
My brother's doing great with a 2 1/2 yr. Old boy. He has a Brazilian jui jitsu dojo in Weston, Fl.
PLs call me next time you re in Fl. 561-289-9479

amazing to see you. you look great.
I saw your whole family a few months ago. amazing. everyone's the same. your mom even complained about the soup.
I'm a realtor, without a deal. currently supporting myself with a) my husband's income. b) server's tips at an oyster bar, and c) giving delicious facials as an amazing esthetian.
please give my regards to Jeff. your bro said things weren't going so well for him. my prayers are with him.
My time spent in the Ritz is a little blurry, but I do recall an encounter. I am well, it has been a blast reconnecting with everyone. Your Uncle lives close by, let me know if you are ever in this neck of the woods. I remember those days hanging out, too funny.
I'm actually shooting for the web now. Video podcasts are the thing. We do webisodes and serials and stuff like that. . I listen to a lot of alt country and played with my band BFQ some of that stuff. My Morning Jacket, Golden smog, Son Volt some of my favorites. Also, Jack Johnson and some of the Irish Folk singers are pretty cool.
I've got some of my music on my personal website www.markpressman.com Pretty eclectic variety but it keeps me focused on my true passion.
My musical tastes have stayed true to my old late '70s,early 80s punk and closely allied music (British punk and those great American bands--Husker Du, Minutemen, Pixies, Replacements, etc.). As I have aged and mellowed a bit, old Jazz and a greater appreciation for old rock masters--Neil Young, for example--have emerged. Mos significantly, I have taken strongly to Uncle Tupelo and Son Volt--alt country. I took my 3 yo son Max to meet Son Volt's Jay Farrar in Buffalo last year. Max's mother teaches music and he really digs music--especially loud and fast music. This past weekend I saw the Breeders.
You have a good memory. I forgot about our meeting at the Peppermint Lounge. Did we see a band that night? Medium, Medium or Liquid, Liquid, maybe? Anyway, I got a Ph.D. in labor and human resources and teach courses in these areas, as well as Intro to Mgt and Business (and labor) History at Canisius College.
I love old corporate training videos, especially their 1970s style porno soundtracks. Are you behind those? What type of vids do you produce? Any embarrassing ones you wish to share? (I tend to be a cynic about mgt stuff).
Good for your sister and her baby. And you? Single forever? (I tried that marriage thing 8 years ago and it wasn't for me).
Maybe we'll catch up when I'm in the city late March or during the summer.
Mark, Good to hear from you. Not surprised that you & Kirshman popped up together. I remember bumping into you in the hamptons. Elliot E had told me a while back that you were doing something in videos. I'm afraid to ask you what kind of stuff you produce.
