It was so nice to see you too...You look just the same as you did way back in the 80's. Thank you so much for checking in on me. I am feeling pretty good. Hope all is well with you too! Speak to you soon!
How have you and your family been? Sorry I haven't written. I need to hit the Lotto, so I wouldn't need to work and would have a lot of free time. LOL. like have no free time.I am so happy that I had the day off from work. I am able to catch up on my emails and phone calls. I am definately going to the reunion, I just need to send the money in soon. Yes in a way my daughter's like having the same Birthday and in a way they don't. We celebrate their Birtdays' together with one cake with both names. What's the difference. They only care about their presents. LOL. The only thing that bothers them is that a lot of people will say Merry Christmas or Happy Channakah when they get their Birthday presents and will get one gift instead of two. In a way they get ripped off because if their Birthdays were a few months after the holidays they would get presents. But that's OK, I give them a lot of gifts to make up for the others. How are you handling the cold? I can't stand it. You can leave me on a beach in the Caribbean and I'll be happy! On Valentine's Day my husband took me to a nice restaurant in Flushing called Dantes. We got engaged there. Another few months to the reunion. I'm looking forward to seeing you there. Time is flying.
Let's see how good your memory is. I think we had Mrs Simon together, but I think age has gotten to me. Send me an email and refresh my memory. Times where great back than.
I do remember most of my sister's friends. You are blessed with a good memory. My mom had three Volkswagen Beetles and yes we had a grand piano. We really don't do any activities on the Main Line so I think it's just coincidence that they look familiar. Speaking of familiar, the Frank Lloyd Wright design is our vacation home....Falling Water!
Will send your regards to Jackie who will be joining soon as we plan to attend the reunion.
Janet! I am going to shock you! it is Matt Siegel! we were in several classes together before I moved to upstate NY in 4th grade. I lived on Park Drive East and was friends with Craig Hand and David Locassio. I hope all is well and here is my email address: mgsiegel63@hotmail.com send me a note when you get a chance...
Happy Channukah! Hope all is well with your family. Congratulations on your 20th anniversay .You are so lucky to go to Hawaii. One of these days I would love to go there. How are the kids enjoying their new schools? For Thanksgiving I went to Florida for a week to stay at my brothers house with my older daughter. We had a great time and the weather was great. Had to come back to this cold nasty weather. Today are both of my daughters Birthdays. I'm going to take them out for dinner tonight. Before you know it the reunion will be here. I'm at work now. It is time for me to go to lunch. Keep in touch.
Sorry I haven't written. How have you been? How was your summer. Hope you and your family are well. My summer was great. I went to Las vegas and California. How was yours? I've just bee nbusy with the girls and work. Actually I'm on lunch now, I went into the Library in the UN to catch up on
emails with you guys, my friends and family. I usully come home, cook, eat dinner , do dishes, shower and go to bed. Hope all is well and I'll talk you soon. I see that you sent your money in, cool. I need to send mine still.
It is nice to hear from you. Daniel, our son, was busy after our vacation for a month (he is on travel hockey as well as starting a new school - Rutgers Prep). It was trying for my wife (Mish) to get him organized since we were away for so long. Now that I have some time to focus, I can finally write back to my long lost friends.
I tried the email your mother gave me several times but it kept bouncing back that it was not a valid email address. For the future, contact me on taxmanex@optonline.net
I met Mish in high school and we went to different college institutions. I have been married for 20 years this past May - unbelievable since we dated for 8 years before that.
Please keep in contact - it was great to hear from you - when I have free time this week or next, I will pull a family picture from one of our camera chips and finally put them on the computer and website (I am like my Dad - slow in the computer age - LOL).
There are just 2 web sites - the tribute site is my original site and where I load all the class photos, memories people send me, etc. This alumni site grew out of the tribute site, and is a way for people to interact with each other.
Janet,
I so remember you. I can't believe that you have all those pictures from our childhood. I haven't a clue where mine are. It brought back so many wonderful memories. Thank you so much for sharing them. Let's keep in touch. Susan
I think you may be getting confused with the tribute site and this site, the alumni site. I don't have any of your photos on here, but you can add them if you like.
I received the address for Mrs. A = awesome, thank you! I still haven't fixed the typos you gave me for your name but I haven't forgotten - I just haven't had time to do it. Soon!
Thank you about Bianca's graduation. I think about 2 years I saw Chisako on classmates and sent her an email and she responed and said it was the same Chisako that we were friends with. We wrote about 3x's to each other. The last time I wrote to her I mentioned this site and the rest is history. It sounds like you enjoyed your day on Sunday. I always remember that you had great birthday parties in your basement. I remember Claire but I don't think I talked to her that much. Ask her if she remembers me.
How's everything? How's your family? I haven't been on my computer in a long time. It was fustrating me for a while. I have these pop ups that won't go away. It was slowing down my computer, then it must have been a coinsidence but my internet then wasn't working for 2 weeks. I have my DSL through Time Warner. They sent a guy out here to fix it and it happened to be that my receiver was broken. Anyway it has been fixed for about 2 weeks now and I still have pop ups but it works. Anyway everything is going well for me. My daughter is graduating June 25th. So I've been busy with that. She had her prom a few weeks ago and looked beautiful. I need to post pictures. I finally checked my emails and was happily surprised to receive an email from Chisako. This is really great that we're all on here. Did your husband have a nice father's day? We had a nice time at my brother-inlaws house. What's new?
Oh, Janet - there is SOOO much that I do remember from those years - you moved away to NJ after graduation, did you not? I remember being very disappointed that you were not going on to Campbell with the rest of us.
I did go on to Campbell JHS, but my father, who worked for a Japanese trading firm, was transferred back to Japan when I was in the 8th grade, so our family left NY in May 1977. I went to high school and college in Japan, and went to work for a Japanese newspaper writing in Japanese, which is probably why my name did not show up in Google in English.
I'm very happy to hear that you're doing so well, and feel very fortunate to report that my own life has been very exciting & rewarding. I owe much to my experience in NY.
I'm not sure where Kent is - strangely, I can't recall talking about Japan with him, most likely because I left Japan at the age of 6 and didn't remember very much about it then. NY was all I knew!
Hi Janet,
Not sure if you'll remember me, but I sure remember you. You were a very talented singer- was it in the glee club? You played Peter Pan when I was Tiger Lily...I also remember your sweet Mom - very thoughtful - she took us out for pizza at Mama Lucy's (the best).

Yes, we took this at the very end of the Summer in East Hampton.

Was just kidding around about it being our vacation house. We were on vacation and stopped by there for a tour. But your instincts were excellent!

The play pics are found off the tribute site:
