Hi Janet - Of course I remember you! Glad all is going well. I am a lawyer, have 2 kids (17 and 15) and live in Nanuet, NY (rockland County). Hearing from old friends is great.

In fact, after much effort, I convinced the reclusive John Cosachov to join. He's living on a gender-confused commune in Western New York.

I was amazed too, Patricia kept all the old school newspapers. Reading my 'article' makes me realize how desparately I needed an editor back then.

Hey Janet - I think we sound more alike than we look. It is pretty special that Patricia kept everything. I think my mom still has the book that we got our friends to sign in 6th grade. Living out in western Jersey is a lot different than what I was used to; the schools and the relationships the kids have are much different. I see more of that in High School. I mean you can't really compare a school out here in the burbs to Hillcrest. Mark and I do have an older brother and sister. My sister lives in Pasadena and my brother lives in East Aurora. They both joined this site too. I'm really liking this blog too. I check just about every day to see who has joined.

Yes, that sounds like me. I believe that we were in the same class in 2nd grade. Yes, I have an older brother, Sheldon. Montgomery is pretty nice, with life being a bit slow paced, which I like. There are mild winters, but the summers can be very humid. I remember you from the Jewish Center, too. Do you know what happened to Michael Frost? I lost contact with him in about 8th grade.

Hi Janet - I remember you. So glad to see so many face and names joining the site. Such fond memories. My parents still live on 72nd Crescent, though I haven't been by the school lately. The neighborhood has changed so much, but it is still nice to go back every once and while.

Hi Janet . I am so glad to hear that you and Rubin are doing so well. Do you know how many times I've been asked if I am related to Janet or Rubin Perlmutter. It has ofcourse slowed down,,but I bet you guys get that question alot as well.( not Steve per se, but Ziggy, or Fred or whoever) People seem to feel Perlmutter is a rare name,,,,,anyway,, I do vaguely remember you and Rubin,,,and I am so glad to hear how well things are going for you both.
