Hi Daniel, If you give your son our phone number he is welcome to call and even crash if they let him away from the group. My experience with birthright is that the kids aren't allowed any free time from the group and can't do anything on their own unless they stay after the group leaves, but he is welcome to visit. Tiberias is about 30 minutes from us. Hope he enjoys the trip and maybe gets inspired to stay here as I was when I was his age.

Hi Daniel. Wow, you remember such great stuff. I was trying to remember the name of the girl I was friends with down the street (on your side, but I think you had to take a right on the street just before Park Drive East and her house was on the right). I think it was Ivy Gilbert. I was also friends with a girl right across the street from her, but I don't remember her name. I remember the Lum's and the guy with the perfect lawn (if he is the one that if you dared to touch it, you were in big trouble). I'm sorry to say that I don't recall the other folks you mentioned.

Have a great time at the concert next month. I'll be interested to hear if that's your old house.

Hi Daniel. I sent pictures to your e-mail address. Let me know if you didn't get them. Also, I think the girl on your side of the street across from Michelle Ginden was Toni Barken(sp?). She liked to eat dog biscuits and had a younger brother. There was also Hillary Frost and her brother, David Frost, on my side of the street, closer to Park Drive East, and Joanne DeSono on my side of the street (on the corner of 136th Street and 72nd Avenue).

Hi Daniel. Thanks for sending Beth to see me. It was great seeing her and meeting some of her friends. The reunion was a lot of fun. There were people from each decade and alumni came from as far as Japan, Korea and California. I posted a few pictures on my page. I walked around the old neighborhood and down to Park Drive East. Let me know if you'd like to see those pictures.

Lon Kirschner, Bart Habib, myself and I think a couple of others from Class of 69 are going. Hope to see you there. I heard you need to have your check to Howard by Thursday.

I definitely remember Mark and Neil Cohen. I'm not sure about the Roher's(Marilyn and Bernie). I think I remember Bernie. I have been trying to find Orly Alis, but no luck. Do you know where she is? I remember she was newer to the neighborhood and she had this cool hidden passageway in her upstairs. Others I remember from our street are Joanne De Sono (I can't find her either), Toni (the girl who liked to eat dog biscuits - I can ask my mom for her last name - she was on your side of the street across from the Ginden's), and a girl down closer to the bottom of the street on my side named Hillary (my mom might know her last name too).

I'm not on the official reunion list either. I don't think it has been updated lately. I recognize your sister and look forward to seeing her. My father passed away in 1991, but I'm sure is watching from above and smiling down on us because of your remembering his kindness.

Great memory, Daniel. My father was totally into the fish tanks, even after we moved to CT. It's nice to hear he had the influence on you, especially because it never stuck with any of us kids.

I have contacted some other folks from our class and think they will be attending (Meryl Zucker, for one). I am attending, and hope you'll change your mind and will go. There may never be another reunion and, worst case, you'll leave early if you're not enjoying yourself (I doubt that will happen).

I will need to see a picture of your sister from the old days to say for sure whether I remember her. If you can point me in the right direction, that would be great. Please send her my regards and tell her I will look forward to seeing her (and hopefully, you) at the reunion.

P..S. My cousin Janice Montner graduated from SUNY Buffalo in 1980. Her picture is on my home page. She lives in Florida now. You can understand why, weather-wise.

Unfortunately, I don't know what happened to Michelle. I contacted her with her family on March 1, 2002 (Michelle's birthday was March 1), and that's when I learned the sad news.

Hi Dan. I'm from Class of 69 and plan on going to the reunion. I hope you will go too. I posted a new picture of me from when I was about 5 years old, so maybe that will help people recognize me from the old days. I'm the one on the left.

My son also majored in history and is planning to study for the LSAT this summer. As my husband and I are both lawyers, we are trying to talk him out of this, but he should do what makes him happy.

None of my classmates are on the list either. I was not planning to go. There was some talk of people getting together for dinner, but I haven't heard anything recently. How's by you? My son is graduating from Albany this weekend and then is going to Israel for a few weeks. Hopefully he will find a job when he returns.

Hi Dan. Thanks for asking, but I do not plan to attend. I live in California and don't make it back to NY that much now that I moved my parents to live near me. I was back briefly last summer, but don't expect to make it back for the reunion.

No. I was too late -- I don't really know when I travel to NY, so I didn't want to pay and not show up. Well, it turns out I will be in NY ... oh well. Still haven't made it out to Princeton ... soon, though ...
