Sign up/Sign in

Create a Facebook App to allow your members to sign up using their Facebook account. Read the detailed instructions, and get started below.

1. Go to Facebook and click "Create New App".
2. Name your app (most people use their network name).
3. Leave the rest blank and click "Continue".
4. Fill out the Captcha and click "Submit".
5. Click on "Website with Facebook Login" and paste the following URL in the space provided: https://ps164alumni.networkauth.com
6. Click "Save Changes" on the Facebook page.
7. Almost done! After clicking "Save Changes" on Facebook, you'll see a new page that summarizes your new app. Copy and paste the "App ID" and "App Secret" into the fields below.

To let members sign up with Twitter, you need to create a Twitter app first. It takes about 2 minutes to set up.

1. Read our step-by-step instructions.
2. Create your Twitter App on Twitter’s web site.
3. Enter the Secret and Key for your new Twitter App below:

To let members sign up with Windows Live, you need to create a Windows Live app first. It takes about 2 minutes to set up.

1. Read our step-by-step instructions.
2. Go to Windows Live, click "Create application" and connect your app.
3. Enter the Client ID and secret for your new Windows Live App below:
   Client ID

   Client secret

4. Click on "Application Settings Page".
5. Click on "API Settings".
6. Enter the following URL for the "Redirect domain": https://ps164alumni.networkauth.com/liveid/callback Click "Save" on the Windows Live page and then click "Done" below.

To let members sign up with Google, you need to create a Google app first. It takes about 2 minutes to set up.

1. Go to the Google Developers Console.
2. Click the "Create Project" button.
3. Set the Project Name to PS 164 Alumni.
4. Click APIs & auth > APIs > Social APIs > Google+ API > Enable API.
5. Click APIs & auth > APIs > Google Apps APIs > Contacts API > Enable API.
6. Click APIs & auth > Credentials > OAuth consent screen. Select an email address, enter PS 164 Alumni for the Product Name, then press Save.
7. Click APIs & auth > Credentials > Credentials > Add Credentials, selecting OAuth 2.0 client ID. Select Web application then enter the following values:

   Authorized JavaScript origins:

   https://ps164alumni.networkauth.com

   Authorized redirect URIs:

   https://ps164alumni.networkauth.com/googleplus/callback

8. Then click the Create button.
9. Enter your Client ID and Client Secret below:

To let members sign up with LinkedIn, you need to create a LinkedIn app first. It takes about 2 minutes to set up.

1. Go to the LinkedIn Developer Network and click "Create Application".
2. Enter the following, then click Submit:
   • Name: PS 164 Alumni
   • Description: (a brief description of your website)
   • Application Logo URL: https://www.ps164alumni.net/favicon.ico
   • Application Use: (the type of website)
   • Website URL: http://www.ps164alumni.net/
   • Business Email: (your email address)
   • Business Phone: (your phone number)
3. Add these to the OAuth 2.0 Authorized Redirect URLs:
   • https://ps164alumni.networkauth.com/
   • http://www.ps164alumni.net/
4. Click the Update button.
5. Paste in the Client ID and Client Secret below:
   Client ID

   Client Secret

6. Click Save below and also click Save at the bottom of this page.
