<p>HI Arlene,</p> <p>              Am looking at your P.S. 164Q pictures and you were in a few of my classes.  I have those same yearbook pictures.  I remember you now.  My best friend was Barry Wertheim and also friends with Jeff Modlin and Kenny Plotnick.  And yes, the 'entitlement' of the newer immigrants and 'religious' deductions (i.e. no taxes) is outrageous.  In my small town in Masschusetts there are many undeserving on SSI who do not work although perfectly able to.  </p> <p>-peter</p>

<p>Arlene,</p> <p>         Entitlement-programs are widespread and without oversight.  It is too much of a political hot-button issue like immigration itself.  Can understand the indignation but, sadly a reality of today.  Any politician who would dare do something about this risks too many votes.</p>
