She was CALLED IN TO SCHOOL and told to bring a dress for me to change into. Times have changed!&lt;br /&gt;

Today, it wouldn&#039;t fly, not only because there&#039;s nobody home to receive the children, but also because there&#039;s hardly any discipline of that kind, in schools, anymore. They&#039;re too busy with the other kind of discipline: making sure the kids don&#039;t bring scissors or, worse, guns, into school!                    </summary>
