Some of the houses are turning into huge monsters of &quot;dwellings&quot;, and then there is little Russia going on there, and little Israel, etc...What used to be; just is not anymore. When some of my non-Jewish friends request something Kosher.....I go straight to Main Street, whether it is a Kosher Bakery or even Brach&#039;s, I manage to fulfill those cravings....MainStreet is empty on…                    </summary>

Also on my old block 70th Ave and 137th St., they built some in people&#039;s houses. I couldn&#039;t believe it. On Main and Jewel the 7eleven is still there. It&#039;s been there since 1976.                         I live on Long Island but my mom still lives there and I go to visit her often. I was just at the Main St movies this weekend. I took 2 of my kids to see Horton Hears a Who. It is a multiplex now and it is hard to believe the whole place was dedicated to one main feature. The Baskin Robbins on the corner near the movies is now a bank. The Queens County Savings Bank with the cracked liberty bell is still there but the benches with the chess boards have been replaced by actual playground…                    </summary>

I took my kids to play in the PS 164 playground a few months back on a Saturday when it was totally emply They played basketball and skateboarded.
