LOL My god Sharon the Q44, we used to take it past Queen of Peace, cross ourselves like good little catholics, then hit the Oktobefest and get wasted LOL. without a doubt it was there I got my first buzz, and got freaked out in the haunted house. Also remember getting sick and my sisters finding me behind a tent LOL

I got caught once on that hill in the back and my sisters and their friends booked and left me, the guy who caught me felt sorry and let me in anyway LOL Oh yes nothing like a buzz and getting on spinning rides, the beer nuts were the best too.

Did you ever go roller skating at that rink in flushing meadow under the highway? it wasnt far from tho botanical gardens, talk about fun, skating to Le Chic, the BeeGees and Flashlight and of course the slow skate to Beth wow what fun.

I remember taking the Q-44 Bus (still remember) down to the Oktoberfest @ the Queens Botanical Gardens. A whole bunch of us use to run down the hill in the back and sneak in so that we didn't have to pay the entrance fee. We had some great times there. Back then, you could buy beer and get wasted (ha ha). However, the St. Nicks Bazar was a little bit more subdued - you had to watch out for your Neighbors being there. But we did manage to get drunk on "Boones Farm Strawberry Wine" - remember that Shit??? ( I think it cost $2.75 a bottle, ha, ha) I don't know how it made it home. Hilltop Dinner, was another "Late Night Favorite" Do you remember going there after clubbing @ 4-5 in the morning??
