The big differences that I remember between Goodies and Jasols was that Goodies was well lit, semi-clean, and was a place you might actually eat something at. On the other hand, Jasols was dingy, much darker, had a pretty large porn magazine collection, and no one was ever eating anything there. The video games and pinball machines were in the back, where there was a table or two. It was especially dark back there, and I would bet many a shady transaction was done back there. Jasols also had one of my favorite video games in the 80s, a game called Ponpoko where you were a dog raccoon jumping over poison apple cores and trying to avoid snakes before you cleared the level. If you don&#039;t know what a dog raccoon is, I suggest you look them up on google, they are one of the cutest animals in the world! Goodies was also the place where my scratch off lotto addiction started. I also remember buying comic books in both Goodies and Jasols. By the way, for those that do not know, both 7-Eleven and Angelo&#039;s are still there, last I checked. </content>
