                            I have 2 favorites----Belle Simon was my 1 grade teacher and one of my memories of her was teaching class in my friend Lisa Wartur&#039;s basement while the teachers were on strike. She felt 1 grade was so important that it is should not be disrupted by a strike.... I also remember watching Paul on t.v. in the teachers lounge throw out the 1 pitch for a Yankee game. I will never forget her or my 5 and 6 grade teacher Ms. Crusco.... she took a small group of us to the Bowne house (after school hours), she would sometimes dress up to teach us a special lesson or wear a wig to get our attention. She knew how to reach each one of us. She invited the whole class to her wedding ceremony and I felt so honored to be there. I remember thinking i had never seen anything so pretty as her dressed in her wedding gown walking down the isle. I also remember that she brought her younger sister on a couple of class trips..                        </content>

                        Mrs Simon was a great teacher, yes. I had her in first grade and have wonderful memories. I think the teacher that had the most impact on me though was Mrs Sondike, I was lucky to have her for my third grade teacher as well as my sixth grade teacher. She was very strict, but very fair. We had penmanship lessons every day ...I won many penmanship awards on auditorium day. I am fortunate to have a very nice handwriting (many people have commented on it) so I am reminded of Mrs Sondike often. Just…                    </summary>
